Joe,

That is a fantastic piece. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a photo of the entire diorama.

Did you make it yourself?

Brad

Hi Brad, thanks! I'm glad you like it. It was made by David Marshall. It's based on this section of Hertford Castle in England:

The paint scheme was based on sample images I provided of another castle, and David reproduced the unique weathered effect. It seems he can make anything, and working with him is a great pleasure, just a great guy.

Judging by this picture, David certainly made a very good likeness of the real one..................Joe

Here's a K & C figure that I really like, CF046. It reminds me a lot of one of my old favorite Conte pieces "The Sarge". I'm sure you remember that one. This is a fun figure by K & C, battle torn and ready for more!

Obviously meant to be Sgt. Rock of Easy Company. Great looking figure. -- Al

On of my all time favorite miniatures...Joan of Arc by Russian Vityaz.....one shot w/ her alone and the other w/ three Nevskaya Miniatura soldiers ready for battle!

Joe

There Joe goes.... pouring salt in the wound! Hahah! Just kidding!

She is a fantastic piece!

LOL, :smile2: One way of the other I know you'll get one Zach, it's inevitable! Do you know where I might be able to find an EW Suleiman btw?

Joe

Here's a beautiful new figure that I love, a Teutonic Knight by Nevskaya.

Here's a beauty by Aeroart depicting Sultan Al-Muzzaffar. He was present at the Battle of Hattin where the Templars suffered a devastating loss with long lasting implications. The first wave of this figure weren't painted with nearly as much decoration. I'm glad I waited because the second wave featured much more paint detail. Usually it doesn't work that way with Russian figures...typically when you wait you are not rewarded and the figure you were considering is lost for someone else to admire and appreciate. But in this case I got lucky.

Here's one of my favorite figures (I just realized I say that a lot! lol). This is a Russian knight by Russian Vityaz. I have no idea how the Russian masters paint
such tiny details. I'm thinking I will do a series of photos of figures with flags. They tend to be the most fantastic pieces.
Joe

Here's a Mongol flag-bearer by Russian Vityaz. This one falls under the category of "they don't make 'em like this anymore". This casting resulted in some of the most colorful figures on foot that Russian Vityaz made. I don't think I've ever seen this figure painted the same way twice.

Love that figure. In another thread we were talking about duplicates.... well this is one I have two of. Bought one and years later saw one with an amazing flag and just had to add him too

Zach,
The same thing happened to me too! It's probably time for me to let one go.
