I like the hint of green on the lower part of the wall, indicates at times it is submerged beneath the sea. Trouble with this structure, the war photo's show these walls stretching for seemingly for ever, so it's hard to know what length it should be to in diorama, but I guess even a couple of sections will still convey the story. Robin.
Robin,
This diorama will be 22 inches by 13 ( 50 cm by 30cm)
it will be 4 times bigger than what has been shown so far. Do not forget I have to incorporate 1 bunker and 1 anti aircraft gun emplacement

Guy, the finished scene will be stunning from looks of the first pic. What is the wall made of and did you first make a mold, or sculpt something? Chris
it is a 3d print enhanced with polyfilla, Abteilung 502 concrete paste, balsa wood poles ... etc.. ; If you want I can show you how I did it in another thread, I do have the pictures for a tutorial

That would be great Guy. Looking fwd to seeing the pics and "how to." Chris
Great work Guy as always. I love the sea wall and each that i have wandered over that section of beach i have always thought..I would love to build that into a diorama....You beat me to it...!!!. Am i correct in saying that this wall was in existance long before the germans entered France as a defence against the sea, the germans just added the wire and a couple of KwK 5cm casemates. Did"nt do them much good for they were soon breached by Hobart"s Churchill ARK (Armoured Ramp Carriers).
