I'm glad that you are enjoying the "story" and the K&C AWI sets.

The hidden character (who will almost always appear in my scenes someplace ..? ) is a character from the Wallace and Gromit animated series.
He appears as Feathers McGraw in the story "The Wrong Trousers" But the character is somewhat the same as the Pingu character in that series.

I have another diorama that is needed to continue the story all set, but I need to photograph, upload and post.

Continuing the KING and COUNTRY Dragoons

The Colonial prisoners where just being escorted away when the Advanced Indian Scouting Party arrived at the Dragoon Encampment

You must send your Dragoons to cover the supply column that left little time ago. Go soon; not good to be alone.

Very well, I will assemble the troops and be ready to leave as soon as the relief column appears.




Corporal, assemble the 17th Dragoons for immediate departure ... make haste!

Big General also ask what you learn from prisoners? He wants to know where rebel hideout located. What you learn?

I learned that the swine rebels are too stupid to know when they are beaten. And their women are worse. I can not believe that this motley lot were once Englishmen

The new diorama is ready (... shhhhhh ....:wink2: don't tell anyone .....) it is the encampment of the Rhode Island Colonial Infantry.
This is a continuation of the story ... but we change locations for a bit and the action starts to HEAT UP ..{eek3}

Hopefully tomorrow ..:confused: ..so be sure to check back.

Thank You Randy .... Especially from an (almost) NH neighbor.

As far as the story goes, I am just having a fun time and (sort of) making it up as I go along. Although, I do have the next diorama done and ready with the next part of the tale.
I am just waiting for the paint to dry on the backdrop.

As far as the photography ... I take 20 photos and keep the best 10 .... :rolleyes: ... or sometimes I re-shoot 3 or 4 times until I get the correct look and feel.

Keep tuning in for more silliness. {sm3} Next up is the Continental RI Regiment and some surprises {eek3} will be in store for all.

Good story Larry, draws you in. Like the contrasting colours you use in the words. This series is very colourful to collect and you have some lovely accessories to compliment the figures, which only makes the scenes more enjoyable to view. Good on you for putting so much work into this story line. Whatever the outcome, at the end of the day you have a very nice collection of historic miniatures. Well done mate. Robin.

We will pick up here as the three militiamen try to enlist help to save their friends and stop the 17th Dragoon Regiment from resupplying General Conwallis.

This is the encampment of the Continental Army - Rhode Island Regiment.
