I would enjoy a revisit to the American Revolution era someday ... but I have a back log of Japanese Carrier figures to get on board. (YES .. am still working on my AKAGI)
Hopefully ... she will set sail on the TreeFrog seas soon. Also I my JN land based aviation sets as well as the Japanese Army are getting replacements.

Stay tuned to see what happens to our intrepid AWI colonial rebels and their women.

 ... Oh ya' what Mary said about the British was not me, but her speaking ... I had nothing to do with it!!! ^&cool

"Sarah, If we can only get a message to Allen's Militia he might be able to stop that supply convoy from reaching General Cornwallis and his gang!"

"But Mary, what about us; what is to happen to all of us?"

"FOR THE CAUSE SARAH, for the cause ..."

"So rebel, what do you think we are going to discover when we open that box?"

"I am at a lost to tell you, Sir. Maybe a new pair of socks?"

"Insolent and ignorant as all your kind are ... you will regret your actions"

"GUNS, SIR ..we discovered a cache of weapons."
"Now what do you have to say ... you traitorous dog?"

"Gee, I thought they were my socks."

"What do you want to do with the food here, Sir."
"Take what we can carry and destroy the rest!"
"Destroy it? But Sir ..."
"YOU HEARD ME, DESTROY IT!"
"Yes, Sir"

"This has gone from bad to worse for you. One last chance to save your lives. Where is the rabble of vermin you call your Militia?"

"Sorry once again, I don't have the slightest clue to what you may be referring to"

"You can save your lives by telling us what we want to know. At least for the sake of the women"

"I can't for the life of me understand where the guns possibly came from, sorry."

--- LaRRy (37,38, 40)

Hi LaRRy,

that’s a cool idea. I always think that “storyboard” is an effective way to animate our dio. You have got a terrific collection and, as I’ve often said, this forum is my favourite hangout thanks, in part, to you. Keep up like this and dont’stop for anyone!!!

Best regards

Enrico :)

Good Morning Enrico ... I enjoy the idea of a story line as it adds a bit of personality to the pictures. I think .... you can identify a bit more with the scene as the viewer sees the figures as part of a whole rather than a quick look-see and then gone. But that is just me ...:p

Things will take a turn tonight for our heroes and heroins as a new twist starts to unfold and a new but smaller diorama gets introduced soon .... {sm3}

CONTINUING the King and Country Dragoons

<><><><><><><><><>

"We have new orders, Sir."
"Don't say to much soldier, the rebels must have spies everywhere. They seem to know what our next move will be."

"You three will be either hung or shot, but the women are in for a far worse fate. That is unless you divulge the whereabouts of your encampment."

"No matter what we say or do not say ... out fate will remain the same. The King and all the King's men can never be trusted. We say nothing!"

"Then we have nothing else to discuss. Corporal take all 3 of them away. We will deal with them shortly."

"My only regret is that I will not see the glorious day when you are driven from our UNITED STATES in DEFEAT!

"Now Corporal ... "

--- LaRRy (29, 41, 42)

"Did you hear that John? We must act now,"

"As much as I would love to put a lead ball in the back of these Redcoats, to act now would accomplish nothing ... except get all of us killed or captured"

"Tom, stay here as long as possible. Nathan and I will go get help. And Tom, try real hard not to get caught ..."

"God speed to you John and Nathan. I fear we have precious little time to act. Now go."

--- Larry (46, 44, 45)

"Nathan you go first, I will cover you in case you are seen."

"Their backs are turned ... now Nathan, run"

"Awww ... shucks, I really want to git' one of dem darn lobster backs in my sight."

"Okay John, go now, nobody's lookin'"

--- LaRRy (48, 47, 49)

Morning Mark .... It is a lot of fun and a GREAT way to show everyone how fantastic King and Country AWI figures are designed and painted.
I have the story (sort of) laid out in my head, but I don't truly know how it will turn out yet myself ..:rolleyes2:
Next installment (diorama) is complete so now photograph and post.

HINT: Some new K&C AWI make an appearence ..... ^&grin Thank you, Mark

Hey Enrico .... I hope I continue to live up to your expectations. No fear, the story will go on.
Thanks for taking the moment to comment.

NOTE TO Carlos. Good morning to you Carlos. You are fortunate to have the RARE variation of the BR60A Dragoon. If possible, when you have a moment post a picture here for the folks to see a unique figure. Thanks

NOTE TO Andy (K&C): Hey Andy, I remember that you and Gordon (or the K&C folks) made some fantastic K&C AWI displays a while back. I think there were at least (3) of them. If you have a moment from your hectic day do you think you could hunt them up and post them here. I thought they were on your (K&C's) website, but can't find them now. It would be wonderful to see the work of true artists ...:salute::
