JUST ... KING and COUNTRY American Revolution (1 Viewer)

"We seem to be out of options, since your reluctance to provide me the information I need, or more to the point, your stupidity."
"Do you have any final wishes before we begin?"

"Yes, may I speak one last time, with my wife?"

"Although you may believe me to be a S.O.B, I am not. Yes, you can have 5 minutes."

"Sergeant, bring the women over here immediately."

"Yes, Sir, right away."

NOTE: Since the conversation was a private matter between Husbands and their Wives, I will not publish what they said ... out of respect!

"Do you think Captain Thomas Preston will actually go through with the execution?"

"Although it is against his moral beliefs, he has little choice in the matter."
"The King's decree is that these "rebels" are not to be considered "Prisoners of War", instead, they are to be viewed as traitors to the Crown. "

"The punishment for treason is .... well, firing squad or hanging."

"Time is up, Sergeant, proceed."

"Yes, Sir. Men take your positions"

"By Royal Decree, from His Majesty, King George III, these men are guilty of treason against the King and England.
"The punishment is execution."

"You will do your duty as good soldier and loyal subjects. May God have Mercy on Their Souls."

"Sergeant"

"First Rank, load your weapons and assume the firing position"

"Oh My, Sarah, I can not watch."

"Then shut your eyes and remember the happy times of the past."

"Blindfolds in place."

"Second rank load your weapon and assume firing position."

The next step for you is ........................... HOLLYWOOD :wink2:
George might have to find himself another assistant for his shows.
You will be busy elsewhere :smile2:

Absolutely outstanding what you deliver here.
So much fun.

Hey Robin ... a very, very simple trick. If you look closely, you will see that all the blindfolds are just black, package twist ties ....

I think you have twist ties in Australia ... ???

God evening Konrad,
I am glad that you are enjoying the thread / story. It promises to get a lot more interesting very soon.

We will be visiting an Indian Village, encampment of the 42nd Scottish Highlanders, a harbor where the Continental Marines will have quite a donnybrook and of course the Battle of Trenton and those nasty Hessian troops ...... just to name a few.

I have a lot of twists and turns coming up to throw you folks off balance so stay tuned.

Thank you very much for your inspirational comments.

Looking forward to see what twist ties and turns you have in mind Larry. Starting now to collect the ties of the loaves of bread each week. Robin.

American Revolution TRIVIA Quiz ......

In this story, I have made up almost everything ... like I said ... keep it fun and silly. :p

However, in one of the recently posted slides (hint) .... I used a bit of American Revolution fact (really not trivia, but...) in the story.

Can anyone tell me which post it was on; what was the AWI fact and what was it referring to? :rolleyes2:   :redface2:

Hi LaRRY

I'm afraid... I cant' get the right answer. I haven't studied enough!!! American revolution isn't really my specialty. I cant' wait for somebody sort out your trivia quiz!!!

Best regards

P.s.: as always , YOU'RE AN ARTIST!!!

This newest series, within the story, is amazing !

Accompanied by excellent figure positioning and photographs.

Thank you.

Much appreciated Ivanhoe ... I'm learning a bit as I go along with each series and photographs, but that is all part of the enjoyment.

Fun things ahead so check back when you can.

Hi Larry,

Been off from work this week and having fun with the family so didn't have time to check in on this wonderful thread until now.

Absolutely love your story!!! Dio's and photography keep getting better with each installment.

Can't wait for more and I'm especially looking forward to the Battle of Trenton.

Hey Mark,
Being off with the family is far better than looking at my threads, but glad you are back.

Writing the story ... is almost as much fun as building scenes and posting pictures ... almost.

Trenton is definitely on the drawing boards.
I mean literally as I sketch out the layout on where I want to see the building, trees, scenery an d such before I place things on the diorama boards.

Thanks, Mark,

--- LaRRy
