The “Karl Mörser 54 cm” was the largest self-propelled weapon to see service in WWII. Seven guns were built, but only six saw combat between 1941 and 1945. It was used to attack the Soviet fortresses of Brest-Litovsk and Sevastopol, bombarded Polish resistance fighters in Warsaw, and participated in the Battle of the Bulge and the attacks against the Remagen Bridgehead. Responding to the suggestions of collectors, Figarti Miniatures proudly introduces the Karl-Gerät or “Karl-device” 041 which had been reequipped with the longer 54 cm gun barrel. Done the “Figarti Way” with a high level of detail, this huge German siege mortar is available in Panzer Grey as Device Number IV “Odin” (ETG-030). To complete the scene, Figarti introduces the “Karl Mörser IV Loader” (ETG-031), a PzKpfw IV chassis converted to an ammunition carrier with highly detailed crane. For those collectors who want to display these new pieces with Figarti’s new Reichsbahn line, the “Karl Mörser Railway Carrier” will be available in Panzer Grey (ETG-032).

"Karl-Gerät" (041) (German literally "Karl-device"), also known as, Thor and Mörser Karl, was a World War II German self-propelled siege mortar (Mörser) designed and built by Rheinmetall. It was the largest self-propelled weapon to see service.[1] Seven guns were built, but only six saw combat between 1941 and 1945. It was used to attack the Soviet fortresses of Brest-Litovsk and Sevastopol, bombarded Polish resistance fighters in Warsaw and participated in the Battle of the Bulge and the attacks against the Remagen Bridgehead. Only two exist today, the others were scrapped after the war.

Thank you for the pics Carlos! It's hard to believe what I'm seeing. What Figarti has done is staggering. I don't know if this series of releases will ever be topped. Then again, w/ Figarti's unmatched creativity and ingenuity, I suppose the limit exceeds the sky.

Congratulations once again to the entire Figarti team for another breathtaking annual shock and awe session! Thank you!
