KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- May 2019 (2 Viewers)

I don’t collect Egyptian figures but these are very nice indeed.

Really like the Danish Guard. Hopefully K&C will continue to produce ceremonial figures from time to time.

I like the Egyptian Water girl, that is a must get in triplicate...….!

That scaffold set (or sets) should be able to be used in a Vietnam setting or WWII Pacific setting. :rolleyes2:
Simple wood tied together with vine would be ideal for a jungle dio.

They will be on my list.

Andy...

is the scaffold set modular in construction?

is the circled section removable?

it's hard to tell from the pictures...
but it looks like a 3 piece set...
2 scaffolds tied together...1 scaffold stand alone...and a ladder...

Hi Mike,
Re your questions:
Yes, the set comprises, 1x double piece of scaffolding with 2x platforms...1x smaller scaffolding piece and...The long ladder. Hope this helps.
P.S.
Many thanks Guys for your interest and comments on our latest May 'Disatches'.
All the best and happy collecting!
Andy.

Hi JR,
Many thanks for your appreciation of the Danish Guard...

And yes we have more 'Ceremonials' in the pipeline including MORE of the Queen's mounted Life Guards PLUS a great looking figure of a Coldstream Guards 'Garrison Sergeant Major' AND...another 'Parade' range of Britain's finest..?

All the best and happy collecting!
Andy.

Another.....?
Fingers crossed on mounted household cav band 😀

I’m sure that the Egyptian range has universal appeal. If I had the room, this is a range I’d collect. The Ancient World is fascinating.

Sorry Zach...A complete mounted Houehold Cavalry Band is a wee bit ambitious and would cost a proverbial arm and a leg!!!
The additions we are working on are much more modest and more affordable...
A Life Guards Standard Bearer and a Trumpeter.
All the best,
Andy.

Good call Larry, I also think the sets would work well with the Desert Village buildings in a WW1 or WW2 setting.^&grin

Great WW2 releases this month .
Looking forward to the armoured crew members to be released shortly.
Beautiful figures and very interesting poses.
To be used in many scenes and ww2 dioramas
Guy:)

Yeah those new tank crew figures look amazing Guy. K&C are especially good at producing excellent 'resting/non action' figures. The Tiger is very cool too and I really like the lighter coloured camo, which gives it a more faded weathered appearance.

G'day Mate,
And very much appreciate your generous comments on our new 'Tiger' and upcoming crew members!

Also, you are correct that the 'Scaffolding Set' although originally designed for the 'Ancient Egypt' has great 'adaptability features' for many different ranges and historical periods.

I am sure you will see it appear in quite a few displays and dioramas by ourselves and K&C collectors.
All the best and happy collecting!

Good thought, Toddy.
As Andy just mentioned, they can be used in ... (almost :rolleyes2: ) ... any era or setting as they simply a pile of sticks tossed together to form a quick platform.

Have been discussing the Egyptian stone block set for years with Andy and like he is known to say ' never say never'. Here it is in all its glory, a worthy addition to this wonderful series. So pleased this series is again receiving attention, it certainly has got my attention. Robin.

And the tidbit that Andy intends to continue the Egypt pyramid theme this year and next, is just as exciting as the current releases, given it allows the imagination to run wild in anticipation. Nothing better than to be looking forward to a treat, keeps one motivated. Robin.

Just checking in to see if anyone has picked up a WS352 Tiger set. It looks really nice in the photos.

Joe
