Well, I started moving my collection up into the Museum today. I brought up and set up 6 dioramas, as well as about 25 of my aircraft, and a bunch of decorations. If Larry comes by tomorrow, I might get most of my collection up there this weekend.

Lawrence Lo was kind enough to come by today and spend several hours helping me set up the museum. We got virtually my entire collection moved up there. Larry, being the organized one, numbered all the showcases, and we figured out what we were going to display in each cabinet, on each table, or on each shelf.

We decided to designate the office the early K&C display area, and set up all of my early glossy stuff in there. We also set up a few more dioramas.

I bought two additional tables today, which will be delivered Tuesday, and then the last two dioramas (the big Market Garden and Streets of Hong Kong displays) can be brought up and set out. I also have to unbox about 75 vehicles and display them in the curio cabinets, so I still have my work cut out for me.

Once the tables arrive and the remainder of the dioramas are set up, I will take more photos to post.

I have a list of the sets you can send to me for safe keeping :)
All you have to do is say the word and I will come and get them

That's what I love about this forum. The members are generous to a fault. :D

Are you all familiar with the term "kneecapped"? If not just watch a few episodes of the Sopranos and I'm sure it will become abundantly clear. Capish?

I, and by the way it will all fit. I should be completely finished with the installation by Tuesday night or Wednesday at the latest.

I'll be wearing very bulky clothes when I visit next time. Louis probably thought that the weight of carrying all those cases had me bent over a week or so ago. Heh, heh.

Well, while sitting on the floor of my museum, setting things up, my wife ran me up the phone, and who was it: our fearless leader, Andy C. Neilson. Sitting on the front Banquette, I chatted with Andy for about an hour. He sent me an email with photos of two super strictly limited items to look forward to, and let me tell you, if you thought the FW190 photos were hot, these are hotter than the surface of the sun. The FW190, by the way, is a one of a kind prototype from a new elite warbird factory. It will not be sold (it has found its way into Andy's private collection) but there will be other exciting new warbirds in our future. I will leave it to Andy to explain. He promised to post the photos and tell you all about it this evening. If I were you, I would check the forum every five minutes or so, because you are not going to want to miss this!

Standing by on the Flight Line with parachute on & ready for a SQUADRON SCRAMBLE!

Roger That ! Guns loaded - Check Books ready - Waiting for Clearence for Take Off :D

Talley Ho !!

I worked until about 12:30 a.m. last night, but I am almost done installing the collection. I pick up the two tables I just bought tonight, will install the two big dioramas, and unpack the last 25 sets still in boxes. Then all I have to do is hang the framed millitary prints, antique swords, and antique maps, and the museum will be ready for the symposium.

Louis

I said i could help unpack anything this weekend but dont ask me if a picture is staright, my wife thinks my head has been put on at a slant as i cannot hang things unless i have a lazer line!!

See you Friday cannot wait to see museum

Tony

Tony make sure to call or e-mail me before you leave, because I have to give you the address and confirmation number for the Cornell Club. I look forward to seeing you as well. Hopefully Brad, Larry my wife and I can take you and Jane to dinner once or twice during your stay.
