First of all many many thanks Joe, really appreciate the trouble you go to my friend.{bravo}}

Wow love those new figures!^&cool^&cool Andy mentioned these in December and I've been looking forward to seeing these ever since, I like the guy using the ' Fuhrinal ' ! These are going to go so well with the Tommy Patrol and if memory servesI think Andy also said they can be used for either D Day or Arnhem. (but I may be wrong there).The new Humber looks superb doesn't it^&cool So for us D Dayers we've already had a Dingo,Humber and now figures, lots to save up for this summer.

Also I love the newspaper seller, he is an excellent figure and I hope he is from the FOB range. The new Churchill figure looks an early war Churchill and he will look really good striding past this newspaper guy. Thanks to K&C and thanks again to Joe.{bravo}}

Some of the Tommies look good. I have been waiting for several years for additions to go with DD 64. I also like the newspaper seller.

However, the soldier urinating, as with the German, defecating a few years back, is in poor taste, low class and shouldn't have been made.

Have to agree. not a prude at all but, was not enamoured with the defacating set and not impressed with this either. Suppose, you either love or hate them.

As Mitch implies each to their own on this. I don't find this offensive in any way at all. First of all you can't see anything can you, its a guy fiddling with his trousers above the picture. Are we REALLY and I mean as adults REALLY offended by a figure of a man who is either about to or just fininshed urinating...really?? Secondly who on Gods earth would worry about someone urinating on the leader of the worst regime in History anyway. Finally if you find this sort of thing offensive how on earth can you look at dio's featuring tortured prisoners being led off, or the parading of Nazi ideals or German troops marching into French villages and post ' Nice pics' ' Great dio' etc etc doesn't make sense to me.

Just my views though guys and each to their own, perhaps I'm too broadminded!^&grin

Agreed. I find the mentality of those who can quite happily create or pay compliment to fantasy scenes of humans killing other human beings as being ok, 'nice' even, but then be somehow offended by a model of a soldier going to the toilet, quite odd. What strange values some have.

Yep! can't wait to lay me hands on the Humber, Jeep, Dingo and the Brit infantry, even the bloke having a pee will be a welcome addition..

An interesting reaction from some.

I hope some of you guys never go to Brussels. In the main square they have a very well known fountain with a statue of a boy urinating. I have a small souvenir of it and I would guess the statue is used in a lot of their tourist promotions.

Having said that I did have a couple of collectors who were not too excited to get the figure that came with the Swimmingwagon and I would have preferred it be a seperate figure. That way people could have bought either without the other (there were some who only wanted the figure !!).

It's a compeletely classless to show a human performing a bodily function. That you try to defend it by saying it he's doing it on Hitler is completely irrelevant. Do we need toy soldiers that show people performing bodily functions. I think not. What will be next? Regarding the dios featuring tortured prisoners, you can go back and check but you will never find me saying anything about those, let alone complimentary.

is the picture loose from the figure or attached. It would be great to have some germans sitting around a fire in winter some god forsaken place in russian opening gifts near christmas from home and getting a picture of Grofaz!!! the captions would be great

seen all the statutes in many countries of what has been mentioned just no personal interest in them
Mitch

Thanks for posting these pictures - awesome dioramas, as usual, from Gordon. Some great releases too, especially the Russians, for me.....

I was going to hang the picture up in my LUFTWAFFE hanger next to my new

STUKA.......................................^&grin

Brad, I don't have to defend it??? I was just putting my view. I thought folk were interested in ' real history figures' , do people think that Soldiers didn't have to relieve themselves then? Its as much part of life as death is, we have dead, wounded figures all the time. I think we should all be allowed to put forth our opinion shouldn't we, do we need to be shouted down by those who don't agree? Its worrying that you either have to prosecute or defend a set /figure/AFV, why can we not discuss them in an open minded way. I ask again, why does a release need defending, surely you either buy it or you don't?.
