Let It Snow 2017 (2 Viewers)

Didn't look like a good one.

There was a 20 plus vehicle pile up on I-91 in CT on Saturday as well caught on camera; instead of filming, how about if you clambrains focus on driving instead.

I assume it was a dashcam or cctv cam which wouldn't affect the drivers ability.

It was taken from a highway overpass and not from a moving vehicle. The people taking the video were aware of the slippery conditions caused by a short lived but severe lake effect snow squall and were almost expecting a crash there. The guy filming it even says "Here we go" several times before the pileup starts.

Sounds like a fun day out; "Let's hang out on the overpass and wait for the car crashes so we can get it on film"...................interesting hobby.

Snow!!!!!!!!!!! well, at least I can see it from our second story window :) Mt. Lemmon in Tucson picked up about 24 inches of snow last night...Beautiful!!

Epic snow here in Waldoboro, Maine today.
So far about 20 - 22 inches but hard to get an accurate measurement due to blowing and drifting.
Some of my drifts are 8' - 9' high. Town Council has recalled the Private, Town and State plows due to "WHITEOUT" conditions. {eek3}

I get some photos later .... when I get get out my door ....{sm2}

How's Mass. doing Zak, George?

No thanks................looks like if you start shoveling now, you'll dig out in time to come to the Valley Forge show in April, provided you get no more snow between now and then.

Considering another storm is rolling in on Wednesday, I'd say you're screwed.

Hey; here's an idea, how about a toy soldier show in Virginia in February, that sounds like a brilliant idea, right?

Driving halfway down the East Coast in the middle of the snowiest month of the year, what could possibly go wrong?

Lucky you! I got your 8 to 12 inches, and, like an idiot, screwed up my bad back trying to clear my driveway so my kids could go to school Friday.:mad: Looks like a steroid injection for me next week.

Thanks George ....:mad: .... just got the forecast for Wed-Thur.
ANOTHER (insert naughty word here) 8" of snow.

At this rate Hackensack is looking in jeopardy .....:redface2:

LOUIS, LOUIS ... easy on the back my friend!!!!!
This is only February and we still have 3 months of potential snow storms.

Oh my just a few inches of snow in February. Boo hoo

Now this is something newsworthy
At least 188,000 people have evacuated from several Northern California counties after damage to a spillway at the Oroville Dam.
The dam, which is the nation's tallest, remains intact. But the emergency spillway, which guards against the overflow of the dam
when water levels are high.
