Let It Snow 2017 (1 Viewer)

It's all in your perspective. :wink2: One of my sons and I went to Pagosa Springs, CO two weeks ago for a ski/snowboard trip, we're from Kentucky after all. {eek3} The ski area is at 12,000' was 16 deg F and got about 30" in a 36 hr period, much to our delight. THe view "at the top of the world" after that was amazing. Can't say I want that now that we are back home. :rolleyes: Chris

We could be snowed in for a few days here on Long Island NY......Would be nice for TG, FL and JJD to announce new releases to ease our cabin fever!

We have a few inches here in NJ but won't be as bad as predicted.

We have had no snow all season (maybe a couple cms at the beginning of December but it soon went) Now it appears to be snowmaggedon, first day driving after recuperating from a fractured ankle and getting used to a new vehicle and I get this ! BAH roll on spring.

Looks like it missed us- at least it missed Toronto again. Looks like an unheard of no storm Winter :salute::

You guys should consider moving to the great green north ^&grin

The view from our house. Looks like we have about 10-12 inches.

I might just consider that .... we are slated for 14 to 18 here in Mid-coast Maine.
But I fear that I'll get up there and Toronto will be back to it old self and FEET of snow!{sm2}

We've gotten about 8 to 10 inches since it started around 10:30 last night. By the time it ends this evening, we're supposed to have a foot. Not too bad.

Prost!

Well if you won't come for the snow, how about for the cold? I'm just heading out and it's pitch black and -21C :cool:

But no snow

Ohh, stop whining:wink2: Think of poor Sammy: sweating in 90 degree weather {eek3}

I got about 7 inches followed by rain. Now have an ice rink! I've contacted the NHL about hosting the Stanley Cup in my neighborhood!

We ended up with about a foot. By noon yesterday the roads were passable, but to watch the weather channel you would be led to believe it was the end of civilization as we know it. Ridiculous overhype of every storm.

It's weathertainment. And no matter how much any individual meteorologist may protest to the contrary, if he's on TV, it's about ratings first, and accuracy second. Or I should say, if she's on TV. Good-looking female presenters get the ratings.

Prost!

Don't drive. Take the train.:eek:
An Amtrak train made a dramatic entrance when it pulled into a station this week. While arriving in Rhinecliff, New York, the train drove into thick snow on the ground. Dramatic video shows snow flying everywhere and hitting people on the platform in the Wednesday incident.

23 inches here in upstate New York. Had a travel ban in effect for a couple days. Enough already

I like the folks standing as near as possible to the edge to get a good look at snowageddon bearing down on them. The woman at the end held her ground like Crockett at the Alamo.

We're supposed to get a light coating again tonight into tomorrow, and then more snow tomorrow night into Sunday. Not a lot, just enough to be a nuisance. I hope the guys at Cold Wars this weekend will be snug!

Temps in the 40's on Sunday, though.

I remember, too, that we got a pretty good snow on this day eleven years ago, too. We had to cancel a lot of St. Patrick's Day plans. And by that Sunday, the temperature was up and the snow was melting.

Prost!

White Xmas from the US Pacific Northwest (pics of my yards this morning)!
