I have been collecting this series since 2010 and loved every moment of it and will miss it, but of course every good thing comes to an end. I will continue to treasure these pieces and thanks Andy for your hard work on these wonderful Australian Light Horse pieces of history. Robin.:salute::

Robin,

what a magnificent setup you have there .....

reminds me of the famous movie "Forty Thousand Horsemen" the 1940 Australian war film directed by Charles Chauvel.

The film tells the story of the Australian Light Horse which operated in the desert at the Sinai and Palestine campaign during World War I. It follows the adventures of three rowdy heroes in fighting and romance. The film culminates at the Battle of Beersheba which is reputedly "the last successful cavalry charge in history".

You have about that many horses there !!!!

Well done,

John

Robin,

Just stunning! 👍👍. One of the greatest set ups I’ve ever seen in the hobby!😎😎😎😎😎

Honestly, I think this is one of your best set ups. Really like the diversity.

That's an incredible collection. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Robin...
love this epic display...
what an action packed diorama...
lots of eye candy!

Excellent Robin! Just love the magnitude of this set up. Looks terrific mate. When you say all good things must come to an end does that mean you are selling your LH collection or has Andy just stopped making the ALH line?

Thanks guys for your kind and sincere comments, so very much appreciated. Although Andy has now discontinued the series, it will be remain one of my showpiece centrepieces and will be the last I part with, if I ever decide to downsize my collection. You never know there might be something as an ‘add on’ in the future, never say never. Robin.

Amazing collection and you really even matched pieces from other series so that they all fit so nicely! Thanks for sharing the wonderful pics!

Rgds,Chris

Absolutely incredible collection. Thanks for sharing. I will make sure I get a few more before they are gone

ALH series is what got me into collecting toy soldiers so I'm very disappointed with Andy's decision to put series into hibernation.

There are so many more figures/accessories/Ambulance/Carts that this series cries out for and we only needed limited releases.

Ah Robin, what a wonderful variety of activity, scenery and figures. Love the column of Light Horse coming through the city. It is also one of my favorites. I will be viewing it several times.

Mark mate, have very fond memories of popping across the ditch a few years ago and being able to view in person the amazing big ALH dio you and the other Brissy boys had so masterfully created.

.......Andy stuck 'gold' with his ALH range and associated figures which is reflected in its popularity, not just locally but also overseas.

Fingers crossed he changes his mind and decides to let loose his creative juices and add further the odd figure over time.....:salute::

Sorry to see this range go, hopefully Andy will reconsider and release some more sets in the future.

Wonderful collection masterfully displayed Robin. Obviously a labor of love. CHris

Hope Robin doesn't mind me adding these to his great photos
