Little Legion (1 Viewer)

Early in January supplies are brought to Rorke's Drift. While Bromhead instructs where to put the supplies and Ferryman Daniels stands watch.
All at the Drift are in high hopes of the great adventure that awaits in Zululand.

Excellent Deitz.;)

Cheers

Martyn:)

Glad to see your new camera at work Brian the Little Legion figures blend in nicely with the Conte Chapel and Storehouse. Looking forward to seeing the attack on the mealie bag walls. Nice job with the photos..........The Lt.

Brian

Are the buildings made by LL also ?

Scott

The pictures with the supply wagon are with the church from the Conte Zulu Playset. Conte made three major playsets based on the movie Zulu. I picked up all three sets when they first came out. They are huge sets and to set them all at once takes up a tremendous amount of space.

The pictures with the wounded are in a building made by LL.

A brave zulu makes it over the barricade only to be smacked with mealie bag by Sgt. Windridge.

Since, there was a posting on the Trophy Saving the Colors figure, I did not want Little Legion to be left out.

Brian,
Good Man! Never leave LL out. That's like leaving dead on the Battlefield!

The sentry spots the Impi on the hilltop and calls out the alarm; the Bugler hears the call and sounds the alarm. The soldiers pour out of the storehouse, while the Sgt. directs them to their proper positions on the wall.

Anyone know if Little Legion is compatible, scale-wise, size-wise, with Trophy Zulu and 24th Foot? -- lancer

I only have a few Trophy figures. Of the few Trophy figures that I have, I believe that they match up fairly well to LL. The Trophy 24th figures are a little more chunky than the LL figures. The Zulu figure match up very well.

If you prefer gloss figures in the Zulu range, LL and Trophy are the way to go
IMHO.

Perhaps one of the Trophy Collectors will be able to post some figures side by side.

Mike,

I knew you would come through.

Thanks for the answers all. I currently own a few dozen Trophy figures from the early-mid 90's. I have not collected in the Zulu War area for years but I like Little Legion and the new Britains. Nice to know I can mix them if I so desire. Who sells LL stateside? -- lancer

Great photos from Brian, Mike & Joe. Looks like the figures all blend in well together and in a big diorama I guess no one would notice the difference.

Lt. - thanks for the photo. They are all quite good. The Zulu War is quite well represented by the various manufacturers. Really like the look of the new Britains. Too bad about Trophys demise. -- lancer
