And look at their trousers, they're BLUE, not khaki:rolleyes:

:D

Untill now I have been resisting buying LL as I have faith in WB's glossy ZW series (and I can't handle a large flow of releases) but it takes a long time for it to take shape and seeing all the LL figures makes me want to buy a set or two. Which I am going to do, especially since it's interesting due to the low GBP.

Probably a set with dead people. Or a artillery piece with crew. Blue-trousered of course.

Do it and you won't be disappointed. Part of the beauty of LL is the near endless possibilities contained in Mike's inventory. These should mix fine with your Britains figures too I think (LL maybe a little taller?).

Also agree about the favorable status of the USD to GBP at the moment. I have been taking advantage of it recently myself.

MD

I agree, you will like LL . With LL it is still possible to get olders sets that you may have missed. Also with LL if you have a favorite regiment, LL with paint figures to your desire. Mike is a pleasure to deal. Plus, there are always new sets coming out, so much to choose from, so little money.:D

And their trousers are blue!

But look at all the fun and choices you'll have Scott manning your Mission Station Hospital from time to time featuring your Britain Matte figures defending it and switching to your Little Legion Glossy. I'm sure if asked nicely my Aide De Camp will feature some of his Little Legion figures and sets defending the WBriains Hospital....The Lt.:rolleyes:

Nice pair of figures and posing my having neither of them 1879

Thanks Lt.'
I'm sure we can arrange that! Very similar to what Brian did with his JG buildings:cool:

Now, Scott, new special service officer in Natal for the "adventure". He needs a little work. We must influence him as to the proper behaviour of a GLOSSY Staff officer. He must learn to accept the inevitable, to open his horizens, and believe that things can be done, if he maintains a positive attitude throughout this campaign. Based on his displays of courage and bravado in sports and game, he will be a prime candidate for further brevet promotion. For now, we shall send him to Luneberg on the Transvaal border to manage Fort Clery and those 90th heathen.
This concludes SO Field Report to General Commanding, Natal Forces.
Your Most Humble and Obediant Servent,

MB

Lt.,
Pleasant pictures for a murky day! Is that our illustrious officer of Engineers in the middle of the bottom picture with the suspenders? Is he the swiss, the pirate, or the guy who like to eat?

Scott,
Who won a VC for pulling men out of the hospital, and what do pirates have on one hand instead of a stump? Do you like chard fresh from the garden, or bromhead cheese from the market?
