London show pics and thanks (1 Viewer)

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to upload pictures. Some fantastic items. Were there any new items on the Britains display? John

Great Show, thoroughly enjoyed myself, buying and selling, great meeting up with you Jeff :salute::

Here are some pictures of new Little Legion releases from their Egypt and the Sudan series, I haven’t bought any of these yet as I had a very special order to collect from Mike and didn’t want to be greedy:D

I managed to find a few, well 18, sets of Trophy ACW along with several ACW single figures. I think a couple of the ACW sets are fairly rare, more on these over on the Trophy thread as the week progresses

My new Little Legion will be appearing on the LL thread

Cheers

Martyn:)

A big thanks Rob for posting the photo"s of yesterdays show, and to all the forum guys present in the bar!! I would have liked to stay longer
(in the bar) but limited time and a wallet that was still burning a hole in my pocket forced me to leave the joyfull gathering to return to the
tables filled with all sorts of tempting items!!!......but i can tell you i was still laughing all the way back to the Netherlands!!. Hope to see you all same time/same place next year.....Happy collecting till then.

Steve

PS...Dont forget to post the special photo"s...if need"s be i will let you know my Email Address

Was good to have you with us mate, glad you came along.

Hi Rob,

A great day out indeed!.........James was chuffed to bits wasn't he! :wink2:^&grin^&grin

I have to sort out and resize my photos and hope to post later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Jeff

He certainly was mate, I hear security had to remove him from the bar in the end.The barmaid is so obliging isn't she, last year she stood on a chair, this year sat on the bar, I think we should all chip in and buy the bar a crystal chandelier for the March show!:wink2:

At this point I'd like to thank my very good friend Mr Bob of UkRebshire who once again gave me a load of mixed Civil War figures, he is a real gent and his gesture was really appreciated. Blimey it was a good day!:)

Martyn,
Thanks for posting the new sets. It looks like I will be sending Mike an email next week.
Brian

PS: Still waiting to see you new Trophy finds

Hope Simon is ok this morning, I'm worried he has 'Chocolate hangover' .You see the good folk at K&C UK put out little bowls of Chocolates all around their room, Simon was visiting each of these bowls in a regularity akin to a debt collector visiting doors in Victorian East end London. I never touch them myself but hope he is ok:wink2:

Rob

Needed something to line my stomach before the beer session started. Can't figure out why the bowl in front of you was always empty though ^&confuse
Must be coincidence......:rolleyes2:

Great pics.Thank you one and all.The U.S. may be a bigger market in terms of sales but as far as making toy soldiers the British seem to lead the world hands down. Some great figures we would never see if it wasn't for this show. Thanks again all.
