Thanks Mark! This company does make really nice sculptures and seems to focus almost entirely on the 18th C. Don't have the Huron, but do have the Seneca and will definitely be getting the standing Ojibwa warrior when he is released. Also will be working on Soldier's Compagnie Francais de Marine once he arrives from Historex.

It is a beautiful figure.....from around 2002 timeframe by the Italian manufacturer, Soldiers with multiple heads. I submit by redition of it that I painted up for my French and Indian War collection right after it came out.

Hey Walt. Do you still have any photos of the finished product? Would like to see him if so. :rolleyes2:

Here is the photo Iposted earlier.............not really sure why it disappeared from original post. Will check in my archives and see if I have any rear shots.

Just checked....no additional photos on file from original paintup...........if you want I can pull it out of collection and take some photos from various positions and post here..more than willing if it helps.......advise as appropriate.

Well it disapeared again...not sure what the issue is, except the link was from a 2006 file, so maybe some kind of techo issue with an old file. I will take a slew of current photos tommorrow and post those from a live link that I know will work. Sorry for the delay

Hi Walt. I see him now and he looks splendid. I like the figure and the base you've put him on very much. I think I am going to go with this particular head when I get to mine eventually. So many kits and so little time to paint them all right? I appreciate all the trouble you went through to get us a photo of this one. If you have been posting your painted figures on here in more recent months I am sorry I missed them because I love seeing other peoples handiwork.

Thanks again for going to the trouble.

Dave,
Took a while to catch up on your progress, but well worth it by the look of it. {bravo}}

You have painted some really nice figures over the months and I hope you have had great satisfaction doing it.

Looking forward to your next project. {sm4}

Hi Jeff. Thanks for looking in and for the vote of confidence. I have really come to enjoy working with the kits immensely. If the size of my massive pile of unassembled figures is any way to gauge....:rolleyes2:

I've actually got my latest project done minus the as yet unattached Left hand and unfinished base. Trouble is I am working away from home for the next 10 weeks so not getting in my regular painting time these days.

Also getting close to finally investing in some quality acrylic paints as I think I can actually see the potential benefit compared to the paints I have been "training" with up to now.

Was just informed my Roman Scorpio is all set. Should be able to pick it up the weekend following July 4th.

Just wrapped this one up today. Could have gone a shade darker on the coat, but....

This one is from El Viejo Dragon and is 54mm. He is meant to represent a Union Lt from Manassas. Took the liberty of adding the dark blue trouser stripes based on a number of drawings and paintings on the subject.

Have a good weekend.
