And what a pair of great blokes had a beer a feed and a chat and listened to Andy weave his toy soldier magic,could of sat there all night listening to him.
A few things to come out of the chat is some new Luftwaffe stuff plus all the other stuff the boys over east have spoken about.

I saw the new Commando,s and they are the ducks nuts IMO best release of 2013 by ANYBODY so far,the facial expression up close of the 2 Germans being knifed is superb.
Saw a "P" figure and IMO is worth the bucks its a class above the old MG figures.
Saw the new gun and tractor its a beaut might buy one and repaint Grey as a captured version {eek3},Andy told us about the cheaper figures they are making and as said at the meeting
they will make it great to have multiples if you collect the line they are coming out in first.

Have a whole new respect for Andy and K&C all the stuff you don't hear about,its easy to sit behind a keyboard whinging and moaning and requesting but it ain't that easy as i found out last night.
I will still make request no harm in that IMO as Andy wil do what Andy will do and im glad he does as he makes the hobby just that bit more enjoyable.

Now for my dealer Brett (And his lovely Missus) what a top bloke,even tho we have had our run ins and i wasn't the nicest person at times he was friendly and very knowledgeable not a bad bloke for Queenslander.........^&grin
all in all it was a great night and seeing as it was Andy,s first visit to the biggest state in Australia im hoping not the last as he was impressed with the turn out,even tho organized on short notice.A big thanks for the figure its a beaut.

John will start a thread about Andy going back to his place for a gander at his collection and he has some pics i think,so thanks again to Andy and Brett for taking out the time to meet us,they could of kept it quite but they didn't and it was appreciated.

Yeah good bloke and Queenslander aren't often found in the same sentence...................^&grin

I wanted to travel with Brett and Andy to WA. It would have been interesting to see what Australia was like in the fifities.

Thanks for the report!{sm4}

To be a Queenslander you have to be either born in Queensland or lived there for at least 50 years {sm0} ^&grin

Semper Fi!

Just a 'minties moment' meeting Andy for the second time. Very special bloke, great he found his way to the West before it breaks away from Australia. Once you meet him you are a fan forever. He would make a great History teacher if he ever gives up TS's. Robin.

Great Stuff Mate, Glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself. I know Andy will take the time and talk with everyone interested about the Hobby.

Wayne, hope you weren't wearing long socks with your thongs when could up with Andy and Brett {sm3} a safari suite would've been enough without that as well:wink2:. Ditto on all you said about Andy, about Brett...well he is almost a Queenslander...almost.^&grin

......I'm getting a 'vision' of Aussie in the 50's {eek3}........and it's a frightening image...^&grin:tongue:

Sounds like you had a ball Wayne, thanks for sharing mate.....really nice & refreshing to hear some positive stuff being said about Andy & his products, rather than the usual moans and groans.

Cheers.

It's alright Tom mate, I've heard Wayne's secretly taken a liking to Kiwi beer....and apparently has got a cellar full of the stuff{eek3}{sm4}

Legend:salute::

Now at Perth airport using an IPad (very useful on this trip).

Thanks to Wayne for the nice comments. Thanks also to Obee for arranging the gathering of some collectors (Todd, Chris, Harry, Joe, Jeff, and some partners). Andy, Gerelou and I enjoyed catching up with you all and putting faces to the names.

First time for us to visit WA and had good time. Saw Obee,s collection and workroom with Andy and good to see where he paints his figures for other collectors. Also managed to see Joes collection before took Andy to Airport and will arrange for pictures to be put up on forum.

Will comment further when get back to Brisbane but in the meantime can somebody in Freo tell Cicerelloes to open a Brisbane branch!

Thanks to Wayne for arranging the venue and Obee for the coordination.

Regards
Brett
