Not exactly but considering they haven’t been to the playoffs in 11 years and counting, it sure seems like it. Unlike NY baseball, NY football is a mess. NY basketball is nothing to talk about either.

Maybe Baltimore lost the SB in 69 but they sure have made up for it since.

Looks like Flacco to open against my Ravens with the injury to the starting Jets QB, should be a interesting side bar, watched the Jets tonight, they looked terrible in the first half but great in the 2nd half.

Not sure what my favorite fan story is this week. The Yanks fan who used his hot dog as a beer straw or the Oakland A's couple in the upper deck using a different technique.

That Oakland couple were giving a different meaning to a ball-game.

what else are you gonna do for 3 1/2 hours?
you can't see anything from those cheap seats...

Probably figured "Who's going to see me; the 9 other fans at the game?".....................wrong, busted.

And you talk about the cheap seats, are we sure those are inside the ballpark?

The only way that story gets better is if the guy involved was the My Pillow guy. And his tickets cost $49.95 while supplies last. Has to be some social media angle where they post the video and get paid. I wonder if Gary Busey has an alibi?

Yup, after age 40, 50, 60, there are certain things you shouldn't be doing any longer for fear for shattering, ripping, blowing out or destroying body parts.

I remember about 15 years ago at Chicago, someone was moaning about a dealer having a box sticking out from the side of his table as a trip hazard, I was goofing around and "tripped on it", did my stunt man stop, drop and roll as a goof, bounced right back up and everyone was dying laughing.

If I tried that now at age 61, I'd break something sure as ****.

Sort of like that boob blowing down the slide and shattering his wrist and flapping around like a fish out of water.

That **** is on tape and will follow that halfwit around for the rest of his life like his shadow.

Solid move right there...................

caught this on the news this morning...who ever designed this must have flunked out of engineering school...brutal...but hysterical to watch...

Sammy...
the announcers gave an unreal stat last night...
I can't remember the exact numbers...
but since joining the Astros...
his numbers were something like out of Mancini's 16 hits...5-6 have been home runs...
Astros were so lucky to get him...

I'm sure he'll have a few more this Series!! 🤣

A stros were fortunate to get him. He's a class act. I still don't know why the O's moved him in the middle of a chase for the WC. I would have thought, with the way the O's are performing above expectations, that standing pat and keeping a team leader, would have been a no-brainer. Don't see the reason or rush on the O's part. Oh well, O's loss is Astros gain. -- Al

Just looked them up...18 games, 60 AB's, 14 hits, 6 Hr's, and 16 RBI's. Not hitting for average, .233, but he is getting clutch hits judging from the 16 RBI's in 18 games. Not too shabby, as they say. -- Al

Al...I agree...unfortunate for the O's fans to lose him...he's a welcome addition to add for an Astros playoff run...he's been getting some playing time in left field and 1st base...and also as a DH...I agree that he's a class act...the players seem to really like him...and thanks for looking up that stat for me...I was quoting off memory and my numbers could have been way off...

Al...that was a strong 8 from Bradish...he was really on fire...when I saw his ERA before the game...I got really excited...lol...but that didn't last too long...McCullers looked horrible in his 5 innings...his pitch count was off the charts the first few innings as he couldn't throw strikes...unbelievably his ERA went down as I think he stranded 6 or so left on base by some miracle each inning...could of been worse...good luck tomorrow...I hope Urquidy can tie up the series...

Mike, Bradish is one of the O's No-Name starters who can show flashes of brilliance on occasion. We have several such as Wells, Watkins, Kremer, who all can look good but are just as likely to lay an egg. I have almost forgotten what it's like to score board watch, tracking teams that need to lose in order for your team to gain ground. Last night was a good night for the O's, but we are still 2.5 games out of the WC. We need more good nights as the teams above us are also winning pretty consistently. Hopefully No-Name Kremer can give you all a contest to night. -- Al

Mookie Betts had himself quite a night for the Dodgers. Four hits, four RBIs, and two HRs including the game tying HR in the ninth. The Dodgers are feasting on some awful MLB teams like Miami, Colorado, and AZ.
