I was working in DC on 9/11 and my office looked directly across the Potomac at the Pentagon. I remember seeing the black smoke for days afterward. I came in on the next day and walked down to the mall area. It was almost deserted. The church bells were ringing on the hour. Very surreal. At some point, we move on from these situations. So many deaths and lies in the aftermath. I watched the TV shows today where George W. Bush suggested we were at war. With who? Hard to say. In retrospect, maybe only ghosts.
