This is my favorite Miss Marple, and theme. Have just finished watching the entire Blake's 7 series on Brit Box, now watching selecting Miss Marple episodes.

Excellent Matt. Enjoy our sleuth in action.

Cheers,
Grey

Sometimes covers are better than the original, not everyone will agree but I prefer Pat Benetars version of Wuthering Heights, she had some great songs.

Love Pat Benetar and have some of her early vinyl. Thanks for sharing.......

As some forum members may recall, I do like a variety of good music, from Heavy Rock to Classical, it's all on my Youtube Music list(s).

Even some of the more recent Pop songs appeal to me in a classical way, e.g. 'Senorita'.

What do you guys think?

Sometimes forget how many surf instrumentals were released back then ^&grin

My favorite? I don't mind Miserlou.

Here's something different, 'Moon Shot' by an Aussie band called The Midnighters.

Had never heard of them before or this Matt. Thanks for sharing made a nice change. 60's to 80's Music always sounds the best to me !:salute::

Misrlou, lot's of different versions the Dick Dale version, probably being the best to my ears, but the Beach boys among so many other bands did versions like this, a quite a different take.

And enjoyable in it's own way, though much slower and original version from the 1920's and being sung to in Greek, which reading the backstory makes sense !

But I guess it's the version from Pulp Fiction that made many of us aware of it and that most of us will hear on the radio occasionally !

Steve, I guess there's a lot of bands like 'The Midnighters' that never made it big.

I think you may have heard of my favorite instrumental surf tune; 'Bombora' by 'The Atlantics', another Aussie band. Here featured on a doco (Long Way To The Top) about the history of Aussie music.
