Julie, I think you win the prize for the most 'Eclectic' collection on the forum, very noice, different, unusual

BTW, when you said you put another 'floor' in your living room, I initially thought you must have a high ceiling and put in a Mezzanine level or similar

That living room does have very high ceilings! But the old cream colored carpet that came with the house had to go....dogs + light colored carpet = YUK.
Nice wood floors to complement the original 1958 hardwoods in the rest of the house were in order after saving for several years!!!

Between the soldiers and the Art/Artists I collect work from, this home always garners comments when people come over. Took the flooring guys until end of the work day to ask about the items hanging on the walls.....

Just out of curiosity, and because my family is having several recently destroyed trees dealt with as I type (thankfully Dad picks up that bill!), What Do You Like To Collect (other than Dino Sinclair and gifts from happy TS/MF clients)?
Just interested if you have the time.
You & crew are the Best! Stacie is really stepping up and is very helpful.

They knew how to build houses back then

Most houses in Australia are built on Concrete pads with 2400 mm (8 foot) ceilings. I only have carpet in the bedrooms, I think they were Sage Green originally, now well past their use by date, latest trend here is to replace carpet and even floor tiles with strips of fake timber. Not sure what I'll end up doing, bare polished concrete is begining to look an interesting solution to me.

Julie, do you have a basement and attic? Sometimes wish I had more room since I downsized from 4 bedrooms to 2, my collection is starting to take over.

Whatever makes me smile? Many are gifts, but I have bought a few things here and there. Many are for the Christmas Cards I make every year! Always looking for inspiration for my cover and then the interior pun/saying to go with my scene!

Golfers are on my list, but those are few and far between and I'm picky!
Honestly, anything odd that catches my eye. I do like the early KX name figures (Annie Oakley is a great one!), obviously my "Little Julie" figures John Jenkins did. But other than that, zero theme!

I will share a figure that is Aron's (technically) in the future that I love. The paint job by Helen is AMAZING. And I honestly don't think he ever paid me back for the kit or paying her for the custom paint job!!!

Split level house? So yes to attic (but not used for storage, just air flow and insulation up there!) and yes to a 'basement'.
That's where my office is, laundry room, whisky room/family/game room with wood burning fireplace. Only carpet is in my office and part of that room, otherwise tile by fireplace and rest of space.

Split-level house plus built into a hill just means no windows on the hill side, full windows and etc on the front!
Basically front of house looks like a two-story, back of house a one-story.
Keeps us well insulated!

Hi Julie, always nice to see collections. Big Foot Mountain looks fun - getting a Matter Horn vibe from it. I spot a few of K&C's Wild West personalities; don't have the whole set but glad I was able to snag some a few years back.
