I nominate the Bills/Viking game for Game O' the Year. Buffalo will be shaking their heads over this loss for a long time. They had the game and then they didn't, more than once. Boy, that fumble is going to hurt in the morning. -- Al

Brady did enough to win...Stafford didn't look his best...
but Rodgers...he has now lost 5 in a row...
like Ali or Tyson in the twilight of their careers...
GB plays Dallas next week...
Rodgers will probably have his best game of the year against them...
well................I called that one...
Josh Allen is a great player, but he didn't look healthy, and those turnovers were killers. That was a soul crusher for the Bills. Have to wonder if they can get over that one. Buffalo is one of those franchises like the Cubs that always seems to come up short.
One thing for sure, almost all franchises have a memorable loss, a crushing disappointment, hidden some where in their past, but Buffalo seems to find a way to keep the hits coming. Being a Bills fan is not for the faint of heart. I mean, how does a team manage to screw up the ball exchange in that situation, the most basic of football plays? TV soap opera writers wouldn't dare come up with something this obvious. -- AlThe names change, the coaches change, the Bills continue to do Bills things.
"Wide Right/Thurmon Thomas loses his helmet/4 SB loses in a row/Music City Miracle/13 seconds"............now today.
They not only lose, they lose in soul crushing, nutpunch fashion.
Again and again and again and again.

#HTTR! Highlight of the Redcommanderskins season as they outplayed and beat the Eagles tonight. Now 5-5 and what a shock that is. First half was about a perfect example of ball control football as you are ever likely to see as the Skins had the ball something like 24 minutes. -- Al
The 49ers and Seattle look to be the class of the division. Looks like Pete fleeced the Broncos when they traded Wilson. The Vikings may be the best in the NFC. I’m not sold on the Eagles. It could be a wide open playoffs. The Giants are rumored to be a potential landing spot for Odell as are the Cowboys. That would really help the G men’s chances.
Just an observation based on watching Red Zone and seeing so many different games/plays yesterday... the state of quarterback play (with a notable few exceptions) across the NFL is really pretty awful. Never saw so many overthrown, underthrown, thrown away, misdirected and just plain missed passes as I seem to have seen yesterday. One would be tempted to say the defenses are doing their job, but many of the misfires seemed to come without any undo pressure. Perhaps I am too picky. -- Al
That was one of the games with terrible QB play I was referring to, and the missed calls on the punt return were inexcusable. -- AlAmong all the ugly games played this year, maybe none can surpass the Jets-Pats game. The weather was a factor but that was hard to watch. And the game was decided on a game ending punt return in which there were at least three blatant blocks in the back, but even the refs didn't want that game to go into OT.
