N.F.L. 21-22 Season (3 Viewers)

I nominate the Bills/Viking game for Game O' the Year. Buffalo will be shaking their heads over this loss for a long time. They had the game and then they didn't, more than once. Boy, that fumble is going to hurt in the morning. -- Al

Josh Allen is a great player, but he didn't look healthy, and those turnovers were killers. That was a soul crusher for the Bills. Have to wonder if they can get over that one. Buffalo is one of those franchises like the Cubs that always seems to come up short.

Brady did enough to win...Stafford didn't look his best...

but Rodgers...he has now lost 5 in a row...
like Ali or Tyson in the twilight of their careers...

GB plays Dallas next week...
Rodgers will probably have his best game of the year against them...

well................I called that one...

The names change, the coaches change, the Bills continue to do Bills things.

"Wide Right/Thurmon Thomas loses his helmet/4 SB loses in a row/Music City Miracle/13 seconds"............now today.

They not only lose, they lose in soul crushing, nutpunch fashion.

Again and again and again and again.

One thing for sure, almost all franchises have a memorable loss, a crushing disappointment, hidden some where in their past, but Buffalo seems to find a way to keep the hits coming. Being a Bills fan is not for the faint of heart. I mean, how does a team manage to screw up the ball exchange in that situation, the most basic of football plays? TV soap opera writers wouldn't dare come up with something this obvious. -- Al

A conspiracy theorist might suggest with all the money being gambled on these games that it was no coincidence, but I doubt it. It was cold. Allen didn't look right. Maybe his hands were numb coming off the bench and standing around for the review to see if the Vikings had got into the end zone. He even sort of fell sideways after fumbling and made no great effort to recover the ball. Almost like he fainted. It was a weird play for a lot of reasons.

#HTTR! Highlight of the Redcommanderskins season as they outplayed and beat the Eagles tonight. Now 5-5 and what a shock that is. First half was about a perfect example of ball control football as you are ever likely to see as the Skins had the ball something like 24 minutes. -- Al

Al...that was a shocker...NFC East only has 11 loses this year...5 of those loses were against division rivals...Dallas at 6-3 is in 3rd place...lol...

Things have gone completely off the rails for my Rams. Stafford and Kupp are now injured. Even when they were healthy, the Rams offense was offensive. Wolford is not a NFL caliber QB. He is more a spectator who won a contest to be QB for a game. Drank a couple of beers and threw some wild passes into the stands. The best thing about the Rams game this week was to see the actors who played Walter White and Jessie from Breaking Bad sitting next to each other. Surreal. The crazy thing is that the Rams are still in contention to win the division since everyone else stinks as well.

The 49ers and Seattle look to be the class of the division. Looks like Pete fleeced the Broncos when they traded Wilson. The Vikings may be the best in the NFC. I’m not sold on the Eagles. It could be a wide open playoffs. The Giants are rumored to be a potential landing spot for Odell as are the Cowboys. That would really help the G men’s chances.

The Bucs and Packers are showing signs of life. As for OBJ, a big risk. He is asking for the moon and coming off his second ACL injury. The Rams were hoping to resign him but at this point it's too much money to spend when their season has already sunk.

whoever signs OBJ is not thinking long term...
they are thinking of improving their receiving core for a playoff run this year...
makes no sense to sign him if your team is not in contention this year...

he can poison a locker room with the best of them...
Antonio Brown/Dez Bryant...to name a couple...
"throw to me...throw to me...I'm always open"...
while he throws a hissy fit on the sideline...and becomes a cancer with his team mates...

years ago...I remember when he kicked the field goal kicker's net in disgust one week...
only to be on his knees the next week...panning for the cameras...as he did a mock proposal of marriage to the net...
what a goofball...his personality is off the charts weird...

now...with all that said...as a Cowboy's fan...with the lose of Cooper this year...they need help in their receiving department...
if they are in contention in December...I would take a chance on him if he was healthy enough to help...
if he passes all the physicals...I would offer a contract for what's left of their season...
5-6 regular season games...and any playoff games that might follow...
the Cowboys have some money in the pot...but no long term contract...

he is talented...if you can get away from his toxic personality...

The Bills are planning on building another outdoor stadium at $1.8 billion with the taxpayers chipping in almost $900 million of corporate welfare. But they are considering moving the game this weekend due to the snow. LOL. What a return on investment if they don't intend to play future home games when it snows in Buffalo. Play on.

Not sure how far this Niner team can go this year, but I’ll admit they have proven to be better than I thought.

Just an observation based on watching Red Zone and seeing so many different games/plays yesterday... the state of quarterback play (with a notable few exceptions) across the NFL is really pretty awful. Never saw so many overthrown, underthrown, thrown away, misdirected and just plain missed passes as I seem to have seen yesterday. One would be tempted to say the defenses are doing their job, but many of the misfires seemed to come without any undo pressure. Perhaps I am too picky. -- Al

Among all the ugly games played this year, maybe none can surpass the Jets-Pats game. The weather was a factor but that was hard to watch. And the game was decided on a game ending punt return in which there were at least three blatant blocks in the back, but even the refs didn't want that game to go into OT.

That was one of the games with terrible QB play I was referring to, and the missed calls on the punt return were inexcusable. -- Al

true...Pats and Jets was not the most exciting game...but I love to watch Judon with those red sleeves wreak havoc in the pocket...

The weather had nothing to do with it; both QB's are GOD awful, Mac Jones, who many here thought was the answer last year, is not, unless not having a real OC vs having one of the best last year in Josh McDaniels is the problem......................my God, terrible, the Jets had FOUR first downs all game long, a net of TWO yards of offense in the second half.

Just a terrible, terrible product.
