Sounds like "Dandy" Dan Snyder is done with Washington. That's the best NFL news in a long time. Good riddance.

Since day 1 that dude has been a bad Omen for Washington. Best thing is a new owner and another name change as the USFL called and wants its name and uniforms back.

He gave inspiration to countless people who had no apparent talents that they could still become filthy rich. :smile2: The Deadskins have been a mess. Second only to the NY Knicks as the worst run organization in professional sports.

if he does sell he will laugh all the way to the bank. He paid 800m, current valuation is 5.6billion. Not bad math there!

JMO, but the NFL really needs to kill this Thursday Night football game. Once again, I completely forgot there was a game that night and didn't even realize it until checking the game schedule this AM (Sunday). I find myself wondering whether these games actually draw an audience large enough to justify the games. Obvious answer is yes, or the Money Gods that run the NFL would have killed it already, so I guess I'm just not the Football fan I used to be. Not on Thursdays anyway...{eek3} -- Al

I don't doubt that Dan Snyder will leave filthy rich, but he won't be laughing. He leaves in complete disgrace and a failure as an owner. I haven't heard a single fan, player, coach, owner, or any random person say a single good thing about him. I can remember when Redskins tickets were in such demand that they were left in wills. Now they are removing seats from the stadium to avoid the appearance of being empty. He has destroyed that franchise. They have been a joke since he bought the team. Unfortunately for Deadskin fans, with the mention of Jeff Bezos as a possible new owner, things might not improve.

Saw Bezos mentioned as interested in ownership and I just slapped my forehead. From the frying pan into the fire...:rolleyes2: -- Al

Some fugly football being played again today. The Rams-Bucs game is almost unwatchable. The mighty have certainly fallen this year with Brady, Rodgers, and Stafford all looking awful. Have to believe Stafford's elbow is not right. He has no rhythm or arm strength.

Brady did enough to win...Stafford didn't look his best...

but Rodgers...he has now lost 5 in a row...
like Ali or Tyson in the twilight of their careers...

GB plays Dallas next week...
Rodgers will probably have his best game of the year against them...

What a crazy Sunday...the JETS...Jets, Jets, Jets beat the Superbowl champion Bills, Pack and Rodgers lose to the lions 🤣🤣🤣 how's the contract working for you Aaron???....Titans are robbed on a B.S.Call last night...George's Pats keep plugging along, far as my Ravens tonight not looking good for the them as they are missing 4 key offensive starters, Saints playing well also.

45 seconds left, no time outs..........so the Rams give up the middle of the field, he throws a 30 yard lazer, first down.

Then they play 10/12 yards off the outside WR's, giving them the sidelines, bing bang, the ball is in the red zone.

Then on the goal line, 13 second left, no time outs, the Bucs are not running there, but the defense sells out on the run, wide open TE, touchdown.

Yeah, Brady is great, the GOAT and all that, but holy smokes, you gift wrapped a TD for him there.

Maybe McVay's skinny geans cut off the circulation to his brain, he looked frazzled on the sidelines, like a deer in headlights.

What an epic fail.

How that stooge won a Super Bowl..........oh yeah, they played the Bungles.

Mike,
You're a solid X's and O's football guy; have you ever seen a ****tier defense than that soft cover two the Rams ran with 45 seconds left vs Tampa?

How do you give the middle of the field like that, then play your CB's 12 yards off the receivers on both sides of the field on back to back plays, basically, handing them 10 yard outs along the sideline?

Then you sell out on the run when there is no way, no how they are going to run the ball with 13 seconds left and no time outs; you tackle the guy with say 7 seconds left, there is no way you can line up and spike the ball that quick, game over. They let the TE leak out from blocking and BAM, TD.

Pathetic.

George...true...you're right...no doubt...their prevent D wasn't effective at all...they gave up the middle and the left sideline letting TB preserve the clock...playing too deep to cover the receivers...Brady must have thrown 5-6 perfect strikes to march down the field and score...he made it look simple...

I had LA +3 and ended up with a tie...instead of a win....

The Rams shut down Tampa all game long, the "prevent" defense; all it does it prevent you from winning.

Why change what they were doing all game long and allow that to happen.

It boggles my mind.

Alright, alright, alright. Matthew McConaughey is reportedly interested in partial ownership of. the Redcommanderskins. What a combination...Bezos, Jay-Z, and McConaughey as possible owners. God must really be mad at DC. :rolleyes2: -- Al

Maybe Elon Musk will buy the team and move them to Mars. Attendance might suffer but not by much.

Move to Mars, eh? I like it. I can see the new team name, The Barsoom Bombers, in our future... :wink2: -- Al

Snyder is apparently getting ready to sell off the whole Redcommanderskins franchise, not just part of it. Sale price reported as hovering around the $7 BILLION mark, not a bad return on his $800 million he purchased the team for. The sooner, the better. -- Al
