Titans are looking like the 2000 Ravens, but Tannehill has a better arm than Dilfer. Henry is a pain to deal with. That said, I believe the Ravens issues are simple, they had a long break as they didn't play against the Steelers, they are/were sitting at the top of the hill, result - they played too tight like too afraid to lose and they got whacked. Also, they could not recover from the turnovers and usually gimme plays got stuffed. Any Given Sunday I guess is alive and well. Much as I hate to admit it not being a Ravens fan, I am not sure the best team won, the best team on the day won.
TD
The Titans did a tremendous job for the most part in shutting down that Harry High School/RPO crap the Ravens run, plus they played with a lead basically all year long, when they got down by two TD's, they were toast, kicking field goals vs TD's is not going to get it done.
Their entire offense centered around Jackson's ability to run, he's like another back out there, not just a scrambling QB. They got stuffed twice on fourth and less than a yard, plus they lost the turnover battle 3-0, as Mike said they got stuffed twice on 4th down, so that's 2 more turnovers in effect.
Jackson was horrible last night, some of his passes were pathetic, wobbling ducks is more like it.
Ah gee, what a shame, the heir apparent to the Patriots in the Ravens are nevermore...………..Ray Lewis on the NFL pregame today with his 9,00 excuses is going to be gold.
14-2 and bounced by a 9-7 team, just like the Patriots in 2010 lost to fatso and the Jets, who then got smoked by the Steelers in the AFCCG.
We'll see what the Titans do next week...…………….
