Al...agreed...Reid hasn't had the greatest of success in post season games...I'm glad they advanced...one of the announcers last week mentioned that he is very capable of figuring out what the other team is doing...and making good adjustments in the 2nd half....the last couple of games...that certainly seems true...they have made some great comebacks recently...especially the Houston game...
If Rodgers pulls this one out, I'll still watch the SB for the nostalgia aspect but also because Rodgers will have earned his place. Can't believe the SF secondary let that guy get past them.:rolleyes2: -- Al

49ers looked pretty tough, KC looked very good too, should make for hopefully a great game. KC is very very fast and as they say speed kills, should be an interesting chess match. I would like to see Andy Reid get one too, but whoever wins, they deserve it, I think 2 of the best made it this year.

A very disappointing effort by the Packers. They got blown out in basically the same way they did during the regular season. Their defense was pathetic against a team with an average offense. A really poor coaching job by the Packers. They looked helpless and beaten right from the start. Now we wait for the Super Bowl and wait and wait.

If the second game was a boxing match, they would have stopped it; 27-0 at the half?
It's the Chefs year, I've made my peace with it;
1.) They beat the Patriots during the regular season thanks to Boger's crew, the worse officiating I've seen since The Longest Yard.
2.) They backed into the #2 seed thanks to spinach chin coming here and having the game of his life.
3.) They were down 0-24...……...TWNETY FOUR points and the Texans crapped themselves.
4.) They backed into hosting the AFCCG thanks to Jackson crapping himself.
They'll join the Blues, Raptors and Nationals as a team that wins a championship in dramatic fashion.
How anyone can get behind a team with Clark, Sorenson, Hill and Suggs on it is beyond my comprehension, but cheer away for the Chiefs if your so inclined.
The 49er's secondary is not very good and Mahomes will torch them; unless they can get pressure on him, forget it...………...

Was a good weekend all round for you as the Bruins throw away a 3 goal lead . I realise you beat us Friday but actually got to see yeterdays game as it was bcast live here in the UK for a change . Go Pens

I would never bet against the Pens, when you have one of the greatest on your team, you are always in it and they are well within striking distance thus far. Plus, they have been there before, big difference. Surprised you write them off this early.

Like I said, I am done with NHL; any sport that lets the other teams coach dictate how a series is going to be called thanks to his whining is dead to me. Not to mention a series changing penalty happens two feet from a referee and no call; no thanks to that.
And the ability to challenge a goal on a ticky tack rinky dink offsides is comical, not to mention much like the NFL and a catch, I have no idea what ghoulie interference is anymore.
The sport sucks.

I like the Niners chances but I live in fear of them needing to rely on Jimmy G.'s passing attack to win a game. He was 6/8 for 77 yards yesterday and in actuality he only threw for 54 air yards.

I think we’ll see a lot of running again. During the regular season, 49ers were 2nd rushing the ball whereas KC was 26th in defending against the run. Obviously, if the running game isn’t working, they’ll have to pass. If they have to pass, KC might have a little advantage: SF was 13th passing the ball whereas KC was 8th in defending against the pass.

KC is a slight favorite (-1 1/2)...they can be extremely explosive...as we have seen in the last 2 games...
Andy Reid now seems to magically figure out what you're doing and makes the proper adjustments...
I would have thought SF had the better defense statistically...but they are actually about the same on points allowed in regular season...
should be a great game...a really good match up...
