N.F.L. Season 2018-19 (2 Viewers)

I'm hoping for a Green Bay/Chefs Super Bowl, rematch of the first one with hopefully the same result.

Rodgers is the only guy who I have any confidence in to beat the Chefs.

We'll see..................the Mahomes ballwashing by the media is epic at this point, the next thing you know, he'll turn water into wine.

Maybe Mahomes gets the attention he does these days because he’s the best QB in the league. I don’t see any team in the NFC capable of beating them. The NFC teams are up and down.

A lot of people were saying that about the Raven and Lamar Jackson at this point last season, but I think the Chiefs are clearly the favorites to win it all.

I'm not talking about the attention.

I'm talking about the over the top adulation; yeah, sure, he's good, he's got the best WR/TE combination in the NFL, he's got more ball luck than I've ever seen, INT's constantly get wiped out due to penalties, tipped and deflected balls fall through a sea of hands into his teammates hands.

It's nauseating.

And it's only just beginning.

The Packers have a shot because they have Rodgers, maybe Seattle in a shootout.

That's about it.

I never thought Jackson was all that great. In a sense he reminded me of Kapernick: that type of QB works for awhile but then defenses figure out how to stop them. Wilson of Seattle seems to be the exception. Mahomes is, to me, a different kind of QB. However, as George noted all the calls seems to go their way. Mahomes is the golden boy and the NFL is going to do what it can to ensure his and the Chiefs’ success.

I was in LA last year just before the Ravens-Rams game and the hype for Jackson was off the charts. The Ravens rolled the Rams like chumps and ESPN was declaring him the MVP and the Ravens the champs. Hype comes with winning. Mahomes is getting a lot of the same buzz because he is good and the Chiefs are rolling. But the AFC is stacked. The Browns, Bills, Steelers, and Titans are all tough. I don't buy that NFL is doing anything to ensure the Chiefs' success. Or at least no more than they did for Brady or any other team.

That RPO offense Jackson runs is great when you're ahead, but when you're behind and he has to beat you by throwing the ball, he's cooked.

And the NFL is doing everything in their power to ensure the Chief's success as Mahomes is their golden child.

They did nothing for the Patriots when Brady was there and everything they could off the field (not one, but TWO #1 draft picks, two #3 draft picks, a #4 draft pick taken away, suspending Brady for 4 games), but the problem was few could beat them where it counted; on the field.

Do the crime, and you do the time. Every sport hypes their star players. But I don't buy any conspiracy theory that they are somehow helping them win. The Chiefs are good. The Pats were good. That is why they won.

Not to belabor this as it's Christmas Eve and I'm getting ready to throw back a few adult beverages, exchange gifts with MTWM and basically chill after busting my *** for the past 24 days..........................but the latest "crime" they did was a camera crew that was in Cincinnati doing a story on a Patriots scout filmed the Bengals sideline; this crew was not in any way, shape or form associated with the Patriots, they were not employees of the organization.........the NFL and the ginger haired ballbag who runs the show found out about it and took away a draft pick.

So a film crew NOT associated with the organization films an opposing teams sideline during a game and the Patriots organization loses a draft pick.

The dynasty is over, they are probably heading towards ten years of mediocrity, so now the NFL will leave them alone.

Thank Christ.

I'm sure that film crew was just passing the time filming the Cincy sidelines. Nothing odd about that! Who wouldn't want endless footage of the Cincy sidelines and play calls the week before playing them ? A big market for that. Belicheat had no record of doing that before. Right? LOL.

Even if the Patriots did film the Bengals, the $1.1 million dollar fine was ridiculous when you compare it to the $12,500 fine given to Marcus Peters for spitting at a Browns receiver in the middle of a pandemic in-which the virus is spread by saliva.

Because they were not employees of the team, they were a film crew for a documentary company and Belichick or any other member of the Patriots organization would not have access to the film, the documentary wasn't going to air for several weeks AFTER the Bengals game.

Not to mention the footage was from behind the bench, not along the sidelines.

But you go ahead and believe whatever you want to believe.

Did anyone play against Alvin kamara tonight or was he just running around alone? Holy cow

Kamara simply ran through the Minnesota defense, great blocking from his o-line and terrible tackling certainly helped.

On another note, apparently he might be fined for wearing red and green cleats to celebrate Christmas.

No doubt if he is fined it will be over the Peter’s fine of $12,500 as different colored cleats are clearly more dangerous than spitting at another person in the age of COVID.

So they just pointed their cameras at the Bengals sideline for no reason? That would make a fascinating documentary. Probably an Emmy winner in the competition with Gov. Cuomo. The Pats actually admitted guilt in this situation. So this is not an unsolved mystery. How exactly would anyone not have access to the film? LOL.

You know something; you're right, busted, caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Belichick told these random ballbags who don't work for the team "Hey, do me a solid, I'm so ****ing concerned over possibly losing to that ****show of an organization, film their bench from the back and give me the film so I can see what useful information I can gather from how their trainers tape up guys, how they put their helmets on those little helmet warmers, how their kicker kicks a ball into a net; you know, really useful **** I can then dissect and bit by bit figure out how the Bungles do things".............

You missed your calling in life, you should have been a detective; if Charlie Chan was working with all the conspiracy theory clues you pick up on, he'd still be running a ****ing laundry in Chinatown.......................

George Kittle is an all time great, even without the lifetime stats required for such a title.

He could have sat out the last few games since he is coming off of a significant injury yet he chose to play.

He not only played but he ran around the field, blocking and catching passes as if a Niners’ win meant a playoff birth.

The only negative in yesterday’s game was Robbie Gould who is usually as “good as Gould.” Good game otherwise.
