Having blown my SB prediction, time to move on to predicting the QB moves.

Wentz - Colts (unless the Eagles get greedy and can't trade him)

Watson - Jets or 49ers

Darnold - Texans

Mariota - Pats

If Watson ends up on the 49ers, what happens in your opinion to Garappolo...........

All the mock drafts have the QB's all gone by the time the Patriots pick...............just their **** luck in a draft that has no less than 4 blue chip prospects, numerous teams need QB's..............................

aaaaah...
would have been laughing my butt off...
if when Brady threw the Lombardi Trophy...
to his team mates on the following boat...

and he threw it short and it landed in the water and sunk...

Goes to the Raiders or Giants. Would be interesting if he went back to the Pats. He doesn't impress me much.

Me either; he parlayed 1.5 games he filled if for Brady into a monster contract from the 49ers...........................he can't stay on the field.

I think the Patriots have to go after Watson...
they need to open their purse...
all they need is a decent QB and they are right back in the mix...
they sure don't want the Jets to get him...

Apparently Evans is willing to restructure his deal to free up money, plus Gronkowski and Brown are willing to sign team friendly deals too, Brady has also come out and said he'll restructure his deal too..

So Gronkowski retired because his body was too beat up, Brady played hardball and wanted a two year 60 million dollar guaranteed deal from New England, now they are taking team friendly deals and restructuring their deals to keep the band together down in Tampa.

It's crystal clear Brady and Gronkowski did not want to be in New England anymore.....................that's fine, Belichick treats all players the same, no star treatment for anyone.

In this case, it blew up in his face, one guy hated playing for him so much he retired at 29, another shot his way out of town..................oh well, it is what it is.

maybe Brady left a year or two too early...
you need to move on from Cam...
spend some money on Watson...
or trade up in the draft...
Cams gotta go...back up at absolute best...
he started off so good...
don't understand what happened...

Sadly, his shoulder is junk, he's toast...............I really, really wanted him to succeed here, an extremely likable person, I wished he caught lightning in a bottle, but his shoulder is shot.

Also, the OC needed to tailor the offense to his strengths, but instead they ran a lot of the plays Brady had success with, two different style QB's, they should have run the RPO a lot more than they did.

You have to give New England some credit for the 1 year Newton experiment.

They paid him practically nothing, they are not beholden to him for years tying up cap space and they can easily move on to another QB.

The numbers are in..............lowest rated SB since 1969, least watched SB since 2006.......................this following the lowest rated WS ever and the lowest rated NBA finals ever.................................

Houston is really going down in flames. Cutting Watts and Watson leaving. They were already bad but that is a disaster. Surpassing even the Deadskins for the worst managed NFL team.

Houston is in worse shape than you think...
they don't have a pick in the draft til the 3rd round...
would have had #3 this year...but traded to Miami...

they should get a good return if Watson is traded...
I would guess at least a #1 and possibly much, much more...
he would be a valuable trade commodity...
should get a lot of offers for Watson...
probably some compensatory picks too...

Watts will be hard to replace too...
the heart and soul of their pass rush...
he has always been the defensive leader on that team...

Already seeing indications people here want the Patriots to go after him.

Why; that makes zero sense, this team is not going to very good for what appears to be a long time, they are looking at 3rd place in the division going forward, what do the Patriots have to offer him?

Nothing.

I can see him taking less to play for a contender; Ravens, Steelers, Tampa maybe, plus his wife plays professional soccer in Chicago....maybe Green Bay too?

There is less than zero chance he ends up in New England; he's a perfect complimentary piece for a contender, not for a team that is on the decline.

People around here need to get it through their cast iron heads players in the past came here to play with Brady, not to be treated like crap by Belichick, the guy who treats every player the same....................Brady calls the shots in Tampa, frankly he's earned that right, even that moron Arians knows to just stay out of his way and let him do whatever he wants.

The Steelers and Packers seem like the front runners. I wonder why Houston didn't float a trade for one of the best defensive players in the league?

Watson is 25 years old stud...
in his prime...
he's the prize in the box of Cracker Jacks...
his stats are in the top 5...
that's with a crap offense that traded away his best receiver last year (Deondre Hopkins)...
and on a team with no defense...

NE's not gonna be very good for what appears to be a long time...
not true...
NE's gotta start rebuilding somewhere...

what does NE have to offer...
the same as any other team...
$$$$$
