NBA Playoffs (2 Viewers)

I agree, as a Lakers fan, very happy. I think Artest has lost his cool and sounds like Yao might be out for Game 4. Regardless, Lakers are starting to get the engine going. They are going to need it for Denver and then if they get to the Finals.

Yea, it was nice to see the Lakers play all 4 quarters for a change.

The did blow a small lead early, but once they settled in, they seemed motivated throughout.

If Yao doesn't play Sunday, the Lakers should seize the day and that would force Houston to sweep the last 3 games (two in L.A.).

That would be doubtful.

The Lakers played the Nuggets four times in regular season, winning three and losing one in Denver.

It's halftime now and the Nuggets have a small lead.

I took Dallas -4 and am losing, but also took the Cavs -8 tonight.

Horrible performance by the Lakers today. Just awful. No defense or intensity. I expect they win games 5 and 6, but not an impressive run so far.

Man, did they lay an egg.:mad::mad:

NO HEART!!!!!!:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I had the Lakers - 9 1/2 points, lol.

I couldn't even watch the game.

I took Orlando - 3, hope to break even today.:D

The Celts are living a charmed life. "Big Baby" may be the worst nickname in all sports, but he saved their bacon last night. As a Lakers fan, I can't cheer for the Celts but they are a gutty group.

Big games today for the Lakers and Celts. Anyone want to see Houston-Denver and Cleveland-Orlando? The NBAs worst nightmare if the Lakers and Celts get bumped.

I can hear tv's clicking off across the country already should that happen.................

I guess the real Lakers showed up. Man, they tick me off. Ridiculous, they better not go to sleep the rest of the playoffs or it will be golf season early for them.

No chance, this was their wake up call; Lakers/Cadavers in the finals, Lakers take it in 7 on the Cadavers home court (and this from a Celtics fan, I'm just sick of all the media bootlicking towards "King James", they act like the Cadavers won the thing already).

What a year for you Tom; Steelers, Penguins, Lakers all in the finals, not sure if the Penguins can take out Detriot, they are loaded, two out of three ain't bad................

I just wish the Preakness would have treated me better yesterday, D*** Filly!!!!!!!!!! What a race.

Bye bye Celtics; no Garnett, no shot.

Next year will be the last of the "Big Three" as Allen is signed through 2010 and there's no way they bring him back. By not doing so, it will free up a ton of cash and there will be plenty of high profile free agents out there to choose from.

Lakers/Cadavers; should be a great series, perhaps a classic when it's all said and done.

The Lakers are the only legit team to beat the Cadavers at home so far this year, so home court will mean nothing for the Cadavers in the finals this year...............

Dwight Howard reminds me a bit of a young Wilt Chamberlain. He wore the Celts out. The Celts had a good run, but injuries and fatigue took it out of them. Now it's up to the Lakers. BTW: who was that girl sitting next to Jack yesterday?

I'm here to tell you,

I'm a big Laker's fan,

but they are going to have their hands full with the peaking Nuggets.

This should be a great series.

I'm taking the Lakers in 6. Haven't seen the Nuggets play this year. So I may be drinking the Kool Aid. Someone once told me never to bet on the teams you root for because it impairs your judgement.

My friends call it,

"Betting with your heart and not your head".

Someone once told me never to bet on the teams you root for because it impairs your judgement.

I have been guilty of this too.

The Lakers in 6, means they steal one.

Denver is a high energy team, they run abd play with passion.

Get your popcorn ready.

Lakers -61/2 tonight.

Lets see who shows up, the Lakers or the Fakers.:D:D:D

I hope L A, blows them out in game one by double digits, with Kobe on the bench for the whole 4th quarter.

Couple of great games so far. Jack is pleased:

If Jack is pleased about anything,

it's probably because the Lakers stole game one at home in a squeeker,

or,

it's because the Magic have now forced a 5 game series, at least.

He is probably hoping the Cavs will lose to Orlando, but I don't see it happening.

Anyway, we found out that Cavs are beatable.

Denver and Lakers should be a great series.

These are the 4 best teams left.

The Cadavers/Magic game last night was awesome, the Magic are for real.

Lebron needs to take it down a couple of notches, jumping through the ceiling in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, picking up team mates and carrying them around the court on his shoulders; guess all of his "enthusiasm" caught up to him at the end of the game as he basically had to be carried off the court by his team mates.........

"Birdman" Andersen of the Denver Nuggets makes me want to switch from HD back to analog TV:

Lebron had 49 points, suffered cramps throughout the 4th quarter and ended up limping off the court with a bloodied knee.

When Howard's dunk broke the shot clock in the first couple of minutes of the game, I knew it was going to be special.

Game 2 should be interesting.
