I think most people here would like to see the rematch as well. We think we have the better team and want to prove it. BTW, I moved here after the famous game. Oddly, my teams are on the losing side in two of the three games you mention. :rolleyes2: Chris
All three of those games were ACC centric. Obviously, I was for UMd in the NCState game, but it was a great game. The other two were a matter of hoping the ACC would win, not any great love for the two teams representing the ACC. As a matter of fact, I disliked NCState because of previous history vs UMd (the Thompson, Burleson, and Towe teams, specifically), but I detested that Houston team so I ended up rooting for the underdog ACC and was/am thrilled to death that it ended like it did. Another classic. The Duke-Kentucky game was sort of the same thing. Duke is Duke, a hated UMd rival ( and my brother's alma mater), but it was another pro-ACC rooting thing. Still don't understand why the inbound pass wasn't defended, or why Laettner was alone in the middle of the floor. -- Al

Well I guess there will be no Duke/Kentucky rematch in the elite 8 this year as Duke went down in flames to Lehigh..................my brackets are in shambles as I had Duke and Missouri moving on to the elite 8, both are out after one game............{eek3}

The BIG CHOKE! Congratulations to them both.^&grin Now I can safely fall into my rooting rut, 'Anyone but Georgetown'. :wink2: -- Al

Well, was actually looking fwd to a UK-Duke match up. UK plays IU next, one of their two losses on the season.

Murray St goes down. :( But congrats to the Racers on the great season they had. Chris

I'm in pretty good shape after yesterday bracketwise as I've got Kentucky and Syracuse both in the final four with Kentucky winning it all.

Hoping Michigan St and North Carolina win today and move on as those are the other two I've got in the final four................

They are overdue to win one, 1998 was a long time ago. Coach Calipari is a great coach, here's hoping they take it home, they looked very good yesterday, not to mention they have great fans who travel well, that arena was rocking yesterday and it sounded like a home game......

Oh, what a happy day. Now IT IS going to be 'anyone but Georgetown'.^&grin -- Al

I'm in good shape coming out of the weekend for the most part, all four of my final four are still in play, but I think I am in big trouble with North Carolina as I had them going to the final vs Kentucky, but with their starting point guard breaking his wrist yesterday, they could be toast next weekend........

That broken wrist is going to upset a lot of pools, I fear. I'd like to see NCState make another run like 1983. -- Al

Al, #5 MD's women BBall vs local UofLouisville tonight around 7:10 at COMCAST on ESPN 2. Go Terps! Chris

I think the Tarheels come to a screeching halt! Chris

MD up by 2 at half after being down 8. Lot of missed FT. Walz has done a good job at UofL. He was the "brains" on the MD team that won the nat'l championship. Haven't watched much of the lady Terps (is it okay to call them that?) lately. Keep looking for Toliver, Coleman, Harper and Doron. :rolleyes2: Chris

Tough game. No seperation. 10 minutes to go and up for grabs. -- Al

Minor upset yesterday with Louisville beating Mich St. Cardinal defense has won Big East Tournament and 3 games in the dance so far. Re-match tonight with UK and IN. GO CATS!!! Chris
