All three of those games were ACC centric. Obviously, I was for UMd in the NCState game, but it was a great game. The other two were a matter of hoping the ACC would win, not any great love for the two teams representing the ACC. As a matter of fact, I disliked NCState because of previous history vs UMd (the Thompson, Burleson, and Towe teams, specifically), but I detested that Houston team so I ended up rooting for the underdog ACC and was/am thrilled to death that it ended like it did. Another classic. The Duke-Kentucky game was sort of the same thing. Duke is Duke, a hated UMd rival ( and my brother's alma mater), but it was another pro-ACC rooting thing. Still don't understand why the inbound pass wasn't defended, or why Laettner was alone in the middle of the floor. -- AlI think most people here would like to see the rematch as well. We think we have the better team and want to prove it. BTW, I moved here after the famous game. Oddly, my teams are on the losing side in two of the three games you mention. :rolleyes2: Chris
