i love conte zulu war i have been hard at work painting and converting and our collection is growing my wife and i took our sons to the redoubt fortress in eastbourne last week and they had a zulu war exhibition with lots of zulu war painting uniforms and zulu weapons and a 1.72 rorkes drift diorama it was not big but it was exellent and i find my son harvey has the same passion for the zulu war as me we are now planning to build rorkes drift with with our conte figures sorry for rambeling but i'm real happy that my sons don't think i'm a sad old git

ZW Pre-orders; In the light of recent developments and releases in other ranges; how wise is it to pre-order from Conte?
Is it advised or even neccesary (like with the Figarti camo V2)? Or could I wait for one of the larger retailers to list them in the pre-order section ??
I think I am going to wait and hope to see them in Chicago this Fall.
MD
MD , do you think they will be here that soon?
MUAHAHHAHAHhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Have faith Gentlemen got a good feeling we'll be seeing them as stated in an earlier posting late June mid July provided the Slow Boat from China isn't torpedoed on it way from China.....The Lt.
I think there is a good chance you will see metal Zulu War guys before we see plastic Spartans. Just a hunch.
The good folks at Conte contacted me two days ago offering me the chance to preorder these terrific looking sets, which I am sure they did with all of their Conte retailers; I put my order in today, so we'll see when they actually show up here at MMTS, can't wait to get them as between these and the Britains figures, The Zulu War is now well represented in Matte finish................
