Boy you guys have forgotten inflation?? I mean really ain't it two bits?
 
I'm still kinda new to the forum and have posted several mini dios displaying my K&C collection in the K&C section. After reading all this tonight, is it still okay to post K&C items in the K&C section, or does it need to be in the Dio section? Didn't even think about it actually.
 
Hey - do what you feel like - if you have K&C figures and great dio - post away - this whole thing about threats of Infractions has completely gotten out of hand in my opinion.

If you can't post a product of a maker in their section - then that is just plain silly - IMHO of course ;)
 
WWii Buff, please continue what you are doing. No one is going to be penalized for making a dio.

Please keep posting your K & C dio pics in the K & C section as they get lost in the diorama section.
 
WOW :eek: I'm really sorry guys for bringing this subject up....lets post Dio pics in the Dio section....what the heck was I thinking??:confused:I must have had lapse of all basic reasoning. If anyone read what was written and thought they couldn't continue to post or in Brads comment MAKE a dio. I don't even know how one would even draw that conclusion from what was posted even when the forum administrator posted to the fact that nothing could be done. I made a simple suggestion....lets post Dio's in the special section that was created for them......we could have even created special subsections in the Dio area for specific manufacturers. That way people, like myself, who LOVE Dio pics could easily find and enjoy everyone's hard work. I guess I should have added IMHO after my suggestion...that seems to make it ok to chime in and speak your mind on topics. Again this idea or suggestion was not meant to be negative in any way shape or form. I was not complaining or griping that someone was doing anything wrong. That fact that this has now become something that people feel the need to throw their two cents, or should I say nickel :D, in on is unfortunate to say the least.....this subject should have ended with Shannon's posting......that gave me my answer I assure you. WWii buff PLEASE continue what you are doing....I think your work is great and look forward to seeing more.....where ever you may post it. Hey Buff, I can't see that your suggestion was being taken in a negative direction :) It's just that some of us don't agree that the diorama section is the best place to post dio pics. We have had similar discussions on this subject before and at first glance the diorama section appears to be the logical section for dio pics.

However, things do get muddled in there with all the different manufacturers and eras which makes it difficult for members, especially newbies, to find dios representing their main collecting interest. The owners didn't want to change the setup in the dio section so some of us decided it was better to just post dios under the company headings.

Hey Warbuff26, Thanks for the compliment on my dios. As far as this all goes and my being new to the forum, I was honestly just trying to find out if I should've and should start putting dio pics in the dio section. But it seems obvious now that it's optional. No worries. And on the name infringement issue (being another buff), I didn't even check names before I registered for the forum so no intent there :)

Just to be clear the negative direction had NOTHING to do with your suggestion that Dios should be posted in the Dios section but rather to your other suggestion that doing otherwise would result in Infraction Points. Several of us here have some sensitivity about the infraction point system and the limitation of free choice that you couldn't know about unless you had suffered through the genisis. So there is nothing that you should have known about how it would turn out. Certainly there are no hard feelings and now you know.;):D

We have to be careful or these "Rules" will get out of hand!

I think we all know what intentional thread jacking is, and that should be

handled simply by the moderators. They can determine if it was accidential, or

something done on a regular basis by a member.
