New Infraction System (2 Viewers)

I would still like to share the ebay id of this person I had difficulty with.

Is it ok if I just state in the eBay section that I had problems with someone without going into detail?

Reading the sticky, its not that clear. There is a statement about pm's but there is also a statement about just not naming names publicly.

What is the best route to take? You never really know who's who as far as sellers go as there many occasionals on the board.

I think it's ok to say that you had a problem with a buyer but not name that person or provide clues that could identify that person. However, there is nothing wrong with telling people that they can pm you for the name.

If you don't know how to find out how many infractions you have KV - then you don't have any.
If 50 infraction points means lynch mob time, then it looks like I've still a few lives left.

Honestly I think if you have to ask you don't have any; if you have some, you don't need to ask.;):D It is my understanding that you get noticed when you get them.:)
 
My opinion....this is a ill-advised idea. Why not simply inform the offending parties of the new rules and regulations?

You are dealing with a group of mostly adult men here not a noisy elementary school cafeteria.

To say nothing of the fact that many of them make up part of the customer base.......why would anyone risk offending their customers?

But this is of course just my opinion, and I am but a small customer.:D
 
Everyone needs to know the rules & consequences before they "play" whether it be the forum, playing a board game, gambling, driving.

I would agree with you John that most of us are adults although some of the shenanigans that have gone on here lately would prove otherwise.
 
KV click your own user name (like up in the cream-colored welcome box) to access your profile page. If you have any infractions there would be a tab labeled 'infractions.' If you don't see one you don't have any.

Only a handful of our 1300+ members have ever received an infraction so most people will never see that tab on their profile and it only shows up while the infraction is active so once the infraction expires the tab disappears.

I beg to differ. All mine are still visible on the tab - which is still there - despite the fact that when I click on the tab - it tells me all my infractions have expired....?????

How about chilidogs? Too many carbs in donuts. I can only have one, so they are not too much fun for me anymore. Though we could talk about the evils of Cinnabun.:eek::eek::eek:
