These look really good. What kind of material is the plane made of? I only have king & country figures at the mo, but am considering some jj

Assuming that the new Corsair is like Jenkins’ other models, it’s made mostly from resin.

The Corsairs should be arriving soon . . . I have an eager deck crew waiting to get their hands on them . . . .

Just a quick heads up guys!
Due to travel arrangements for the early May MFCA show in Philadelphia, some of the items for the April releases will be delayed.
The following items will now be shipped in mid-May after John returns from the USA.

BH-01(167) Corsair Hedrick
BH-02(183) Corsair Caswell

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. In addition to giving my CC a breather, it’ll give JJ more time to make sure that the models are squared away before they ship.:)

I can understand that train of thought .... now I can try to get caught up on my DAM and Girls with Guns.

This will give me a chance to catch up on some WWI sets I have put on the back burner.

Anyone managed to trap a JJ hose-nose yet?

-Moe

I believe they are being delivered to most dealers this coming week. In any event, my Corsairs have not landed yet . . .

Expected landings starting tomorrow here! Anyone want to hustle our USPS driver along?

I'll make that motion and I will second it too. As you can see in the pics below, my welcoming committee is ready for both of the Corsairs arrival . . . .

I can't wait ... {sm4} ... my decks are here and the TWO Corsairs are coming soon.

I have received intel reports that indicate that my USMC VMF-221 #187 will be landing here tomorrow . . . ^&grin

Careful tonight, Mike, keep the Bunker Hill's lights OFF.
Intel has discovered that there is a Japanese Kaichū Type submarine patrolling the waters in your sector. {sm4}

If you survive the night I hope to see what touches down tomorrow.

Rest assured Larry . . . . The Bunker Hill crew here are on high alert . . . . What ever touches down tomorrow will be shown to all . . . .

Well USMC fighter squadron VMF-221 just landed on my USS Bunker Hill to a very much warm welcome. This is just a sneak peek at it. More pictures to follow as soon as I return from having a tooth that I broke last week crowned. The arrival of this Corsair takes a bit of the "sting" away from having to go to the Dentist this morning . . .

It appears that the wings can't be removed once they are inserted and the retention fork is engaged. Is that your take on that aspect of the model? It's a beauty, BTW. I do my find myself taken by it's size. It seems so much larger than 1/32 models!
