I have always thought the Pacific theater had such great and unique equipment and that Avenger is a perfect example.
My favorite line is FOB so how could I collect that period without the Hurricane, so I broke down.:p;)

I,m not realy a plane guy ,BUT seeing their was a battle of Britain
spit being made I had to order that ,and it would have been lonely
without a mosquito to keep it company .
[I also picked up a corgi 1/32 ouglas Bader hurricane last week
which is realy nice ]

It's nice to see some people who hadn't ordered these before getting one. Congrats Rob.

Sounds like he got two
Regards
Damian

Twice as much fun! I can't wait to see a photo of the Mosquito. I'm sure it must be something special.

How about you Damian. You need to get one :D

I have something else up my sleeve Brad.
Not a warbird but it is something specatcular
Regards
Damian
PS those warbirds do look great.
All the British ones are gone by the sound of things

Thanks Brad , I guess this represents another turn in the long road of
Collecting . My foray will be pretty ltd though , if K and C make it
[and I can get it ] I,d love a Wellington or Mustang in RAF colours.
I,ve also grabbed corgis Air marshall Keith parks Malta hurricane to add
A bit of kiwi flavour , but all this will all take up display space I don’t have .:)

I may be wrong but it seems that in the warbirds arena we have a bit of an inversion. It would seem British planes are more popular than German ones. This is the exact opposite of the situation pertaining to armor where it seems that nazi armor is far more popular.
As I have said I may be wrong
Regards
Damian

You stole my thunder. That is my thought as well. I'm more interested in the British ones as well. I think the insignia may have something to do with it.

Hey, I like the sounds of that, Damian. At least give us some sense of how long we have to wait and see what you've got cooking.

As for the Warbirds, if I was in the market (I'm not:(), I would be all over the USN aircraft. I've always loved those. I'd have to have one of those Avengers for example. Congrats to all you Warbird collectors.

I'd be interested ina which A/C have been produced and there nationalities, is there a proponderence of Allied A/C? I plan to display my Hurricane with my polystone BF-109 though I also have a 190.
