Mike:

I just read the article, what a class act that guy is! My only hope is that next time the Lions are running out the clock (taking a knee) someone takes a swipe at his knees and then tells him that its football.

yea...

he's a loser for sure...

you could really hurt someone with those chickensheet mentality and tactics...

Bears v Lions; running game, running game, who's got the running game? No one here. First half has 60 total plays, 45 passing, 15 running with a grand total of 27 yards rushing, for both teams combined. Hallas is spinning. :rolleyes2: -- Al

Game finishes with 130 total plays, of which 31 were running plays, accounting for 104 yards of the overall total of 643 yards. Kind of a noticeable inequity. The NFL should just ban running and become the all-pass game it wants to be. Jeesh! -- Al

Just as the Lions/Bears game shakes my faith, along come the Eagles who trample the Cowboys with a very impressive running game. Call it 5.7 yards and a cloud of dust.:wink2: -- Al

the Cowboys are absolute posers...

Paper Lions...

they have no pass rush...

no secondary...

and are very susceptible to a blitz...

their Wild Card chances are slipping away...

The Niners got destroyed. The score should have been 28-3. And those were not interceptions by Sherman, those were receptions considering Kaepernick threw them right to him.

And Crabtree has 3 catches for 10 yards in his first game against Seattle since Sherman called him mediocre? Way to get motivated.

It was an embarrassing performance by the offense. In a way you could see this coming after the woeful performances against the Giants and Washington.

Well if your not a Seattle, Philly, Detroit fan those 3 games sucked yesterday!!!!!!! can't remember the last time all 3 games were blow outs on Thanksgiving day?? usually at least 1 game worth watching? oh well, some great college ball today and tommorow hopefully to make up for it...Sammy

Brad:

Great post. They barely beat the Giants and Redskins, once they played a team like Seattle they were in trouble.

The only good news is that they have the Raiders next.

Well, not a good day for the Redskins (not surprised) or the Ravens (a little surprised). Ravens couldn't play defense when it mattered. Redskins didn't play defense at all. At least McCoy got there offense scoring again after he got into the game flow. -- Al

Giants have finally hit rock bottom, losing to the lowly Jags. They are now almost as lowly as them {eek3}

McCoy is in a tough spot. The Redskins are in disarray and he did the best he could under tough conditions.

Redskins are just plain bad. They are disorganized, continue to make the same errors, and look like they have no clue. I wonder how they won 3 games. Doesn't look as if HC Gruden knows squat. McCoy is not a long term solution and even if he was, there are very few weapons to help him. Some decent receivers and a decent running back but no O-line, no defense, and hit-or-miss special teams is not going to get it done. This is beginning to look like a complete tear-down job. -- Al

Fun with numbers -- 14 games so far this week with the following results; 5 games decided by 5 or fewer points (5,3,1,1,1); 5 games decided by 11 to 18 points (11,16,16,17,18); 4 games in the rout catagory of 22 or more points (22,23,24,52). Kind of a nice balance to it all. -- Al

I was surprised too at the ending of the Ravens game; thought for sure Flacco had 70 yard pass interference call in that arm of his.

Patriots laid an egg in Green Bay, defense was awful, zero pass rush, couldn't get off the field on third down, Packers punted only once. They had a sure TD lost due to a drop, game was not as close as the score indicated.

Green Bays defense, specifically their run defense is awful, 30th in the league vs the run, the Patriots gave up on the run way too early IMO.

Next week vs San Diego is a huge game now; if they lose, they are in danger of dropping from the first seed to third.

Without HFA, they're not going to the Super Bowl, another trip to Denver for the AFCCG would be my worst nightmare scenario coming true, Kansas City would be a close second, they'd have no shot in either scenario.

It's hard to beat the Packers in GB. If they get home field, they could be in great shape.
