Well, I sure called that one. What a disaster of a weekend for me. I've watched my last pro-game this season. Can't stand any of the 4 teams left so I won't be watching. Good luck to my friends with teams left in the mix. For me, it's college basketball until spring training starts. This will be the first time I haven't watched the 2 championship games or the Super Bowl. Kind of depressing. Adios until the 2015 NFL regular season gets started. -- Al

Come on Al, you been riding this train since it was started way back when, no use getting off now, let's see how it ends, I'm about as disappointed as I can get, but hey a Packer/Colt championship wouldn't be to bad?...Sammy

Al...he was very ineffective tonight...

As the season dragged on so did Manning, not sure if father time has caught up with him (hasn't bothered Brady) or injuries to team mates etc. they just looked defeated after that opening drive, the broncos spent 9.1 billion some how on free agents last year and thinking they put alot of marbles into 2014 season, lots of those marbles will be gone next year plus the salary cap issue they have to face, I do believe Manning returns but thinking the 12 plus wins is out the door...Sammy

Yeah, Manning and gang have to be very disappointed. They started out gangbusters the first 8 games but Manning looked very much his age over the second half of the season. Sammy, a Packers-Colts championship is nothing but a nightmare for me. I have hated Green Bay since the 60's and never watch them if it can be avoided. You know the history behind the whole Colts thing so there is no way I can be interested in seeing them, and owner Irsay, win anything. I hate the Irsay ownership just as much as I hate Green Bay. This is not personal as far as Green bay is concerned, it's an old Baltimote Colt thing. Hating Indy IS personal as long as the Irsay family is involved. I only slightly dislike NE and Seattle so I guess I would rather see them gain the SB, but it won't be enough to get me to watch. Come on baseball. -- Al

just a quick tid bit, this is no. 9 one and done for Manning (worst of all time) but on the other end you have Brady heading onto his 9th AFC title game, how ironic?? folks talk about Manning best ever, sorry to me the championships mean more as yards, passes, touchdowns etc. no doubt Manning is one of the best ever but you got to be able to put your team in the dance after the regular season stats are done...Sammy

Well thank God, I won't have to listen to the Brady/Manning debate all week long.

Not sure what Denver was doing out there today, they abandoned the run game and Manning kept throwing the ball deep, something he clearly can't do anymore with any sort of accuracy. This whole Manning to Denver, the Broncos loading up and spending a dump truck full of money on all sorts of free agents (Nice game Talib/did Ware play today/did Miller play today/wow is Welker toast) and going all in is now a failure; two one and dones and one trip to the Super Bowl where they got waxed.

They've got a lot of free agents, Manning looks done, Fox may be done too, so much for that plan.

Manning is 1 and done 9 times, 8 of which his team was the favorite; Brady on the other hand is going to his 9th AFCCG.

There is no debate as to who the better quarterback is.

So Sammy, now you're on the Colts bandwagon huh; the team you swore was dead to you numerous times?

Just awesome Sammy; don't ever change.....................

I don't believe that Al. C'mon my team wasn't in it from the getgo this season and I enjoyed these games. You've got two interesting games next week, three of the QBs in the game. You can't miss that!

No George I'm on the whoever beats the Patriots band wagon be it The Colts, Or the NFC winner, but either way George its just a game, don't take it so serious...Sammy

Brad, I was enjoying the games too, up until this disaster of a weekend. I will concede that I might watch a NE-Seattle battle, but no way could I watch Indy-Green Bay. Will have to ponder the other combos. -- Al

That's beautiful Sammy.

You really told me.

Now ya talking Al, even if our teams are out it's always fun to see it all play out in the end....even if it's not the Ravens😢....Sammy

I look at it this way, I am all AFC from here on out. I want the Patriots to win for George. If they don't then I will cheer for Luck and Fleener based based on their Stanford ties. I do not want Seattle or Green Bay to win it because of Rodgers and Lynch and their Cal ties.

Cowboy Catch - I probably would have called it a catch, HOWEVER, the Calvin Johnson rule was invoked and thus no catch by rule. Kind of poetic justice after last week, but it actually appears to be the correct call. And as a non=combatant in this fight, it was poetic justice it happened to Dez Bryant. I respect his talent as a fan, but I just don't care for the guy and the way he carries himself.

On to next week - Pats should take care of Luck and the Colts as I believe the Luck has run its course again this year, but the Pats better retune the defense. Seahawks beat Green Bay.

TD

Taking the under dogs next week, the Colts are playing thier best ball of the season these last few weeks and the Colts pass defense last nite looked really good as well as the Pats playing one of their toughest games last week may have taking a toll on them Colts 27 Pats 23

The Pack have a tougher road game in Seatle but if they can survive the 1st half and keep it close I think they can win it in the second half as they did against Dallas.. Pack 24 Seahawks 20...Sammy

It's going to be a tough nut to win in Seattle. Even with a healthy QB and Rodgers is a long way from that. He might not even finish the game against King Pete's D. Seattle should win easily. Brady is now probably the best QB in NFL history. The only other person in that discussion is Montana. The Colts are not going to win in NE. That sets up a great SB.

We'll see how the Seahawks do vs a balanced offense with an elite quarterback as opposed to the tomato cans they played down the stretch.

If Green Bay hadn't lost to the Bills, this game would be in Green Bay, where they are virtually unbeatable.

Carolina outgained them Saturday.

Rodgers is elite, the clear league MVP, we'll see how he does vs Pete the Poodle and his pack of PED users......................

And Fox is out in Denver.

Shocker; not.

I think the Broncos were worried about losing Manning and the OC in one fell swoop. Manning had apparently said he was leaving if Adam Gase did and Gase was going to leave as soon as the season ended for them, as it now has.

Exit Fox. Problem fixed.

A great theory gone up in smoke. Apparently Fox's staff have all been fired.

Yep, entire staff has been canned.

Guess Elway is pretty upset.
