Nfl 2014 (2 Viewers)

the Las Vegas line opened at Seattle -2 1/2...

casino representatives are saying 4 times as much money is being bet on New England...

the line is now New England -1 1/2

According to Jay Glazer, the NFL is now focusing on a locker room attendant as having something to do with the footballs.

After reviewing the tape, they noticed the ballboy's head went back and to the left, back and to the left...................

Well on a serious note, more information about the ballboy is coming out and it doesn't look good for the Patriots.

Unbelievable.

It's been confirmed the kids name is Lee Harvey Ballswald.

Man are they screwed.

I love your posts...you're one of the reasons i keep coming back...^&grin

Mr Kraft just threw down the gauntlet; he said he's known Brady and Belichick for 15 years and he's never known either one of them to lie to him.

Ever.

He also said if the NFL does not find proof of wrongdoing, he wants an apology.

Talk about the point of no return.

Wow.

Your display of friendship via emails over this storm will never be forgotten, you're a top shelf person, don't ever forget it..........

One of the challenges with the vehement denials by the Pats is that we live in a culture where vehement denials are what is expected.

Lance Armstrong was pretty strong in his denial that he took any juice.

Roger Clemens didn't back down one bit when accused.

Heck, the accusation that he took something illegal made Sammy Sosa forget how to speak English!

I'm not at all saying that there is guilt here...far from it. I don't trust the NFL as far as I can throw them. This smells fishy on all levels (and frankly, I don't think that a couple pounds of air pressure changes the game that significantly). I'm just saying that we've become numb to people taking a podium and saying, "I didn't do it," because we're waiting for the "Oh wait, you have proof that I did...I'd better go on a talk show and make a humble apology and ask for forgiveness." We've seen the song and dance one too many times.

Which makes it hard for those who are truly innocent...nobody will believe them!

That little display reminds me of the phrase "he doth protest too much."

Robert Kraft is one of the classiest owners in the league. I have a great respect for what he has done with his franchise. I will also never forget what he did for Leah Stills, the cancer stricken daughter of Cincinati Bengals player Devon Stills when the Patriots played the Bengals this season. Pure class. He loves the game and his players. I doubt he would do anything to hurt either one, at this point I believe him.

That "little display" shows me Goodell just lost one of his allies; my advice to him is to spruce up that resume.

I'd assume he sat down with Brady and Belichick and asked them if the footballs were tampered with and they both told him no, no, 1000% times no.

At this point, they are either lying and know that there is no video proof, or they are innocent.

Time will tell.

If they are lying and the NFL finds proof, they are both toast.

Pro Football Talk is now reporting the video was discovered by the Patriots and submitted to the league.

The room in question; it's a bathroom.

The ballboy was in there for less than 90 seconds.

So unless any of you believe he deflated 12 footballs in 90 seconds, this leak is just that, it's a leak about someone taking a leak.

Word is Jay Glazer is pissed that he was fed this and then ran with it.

As a follow up as I sit here watching the snow ramp up again; I find it comical that the NFL found a video of a ballboy using a bathroom in four days, but didn't find the video of Ray Rice knocking his girlfriend unconscious.

Pathetic and sad is more like it; if that kid had taken the footballs into an elevator instead of a bathroom, the Patriots would be off the hook.

Great job NFL and the mediots out there for smearing forever one of the leagues flagship franchises.

Good effort, good job to everyone involved here.

I'm waiting for the next leak with bated breath.

What's wrong with the NFL now are the people who run it and that includes the owners, all of them.

I don't think anyone believes that this would have been allowed to fester under Pete Rozelle.

I'm assuming that following Kraft's speech, Goodell is on thin ice.

Given the NFL's past history with videos, I find it remarkable that the NFL has even looked at the video yet. Like I have said before, this whole thing is just wrong. Who but the NFL would screw up it's biggest 2 weeks of feel good publicity and game of the year with a story about air pressure in their balls? Wait, MLB did cancel a World Series... I am so not impressed with this whole thing. -- Al

you know...

whether this ball attendant did this...Brady did this...Belichick did this...or somebody else on the NE staff did this...or it was just some freak bizarre natural phenomenon...I don't think it matters...

it happened...that's all that matters...

and it happened while in the care of the NE staff...and that matters a whole lot...

NE was entrusted with caring for properly inflated balls...to be maintained at the legal air pressure while they were in the hands of the NE Patriots...and they failed...

that's all this boils down to...

In the eyes of the public...I think this is one of those instances where they are deemed guilty til proven innocent...

while to date...NE has no explanation...and the NFL has no explanation...it still happened...that is the bottom line...and right now...unless something changes...that appears to be an undisputed fact...

NE was given 12 properly inflated balls that were returned altered...

George,

You said the ball boy was in there for 90 seconds. Was it number 1 or number 2 ^&grin

Brad

Not sure, but I am sure the NFL will get to the bottom of it; I hope either way he washed his hands.
