NFL 2015 Season (1 Viewer)

the Giants have refused to sign a contract with Jason Pierre-Paul..
nicknamed JP-3 or JPP...
their star defensive end and sack leader...
blew a finger off playing with firecrackers about 2 months ago...
the Giants are refusing to sign his franchise tag tender as they don't think he is near "football ready"...

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...pierre-paul-finger-hand-football-ready-090915

if you don't follow the NFC East...
most of you may not know who he is...
but he was the Giants 1st round pick in 2010...
a 2 time Pro Bowl selection since then...
he is a total brute and a force to be reckoned with on every play...chasing QB's all over the field...

he is definitely out against the Cowboys in their season opener...

I wish him a speedy recovery and resuming his career...

but I'm glad he won't be crushing Tony Romo Sunday night...

saw a pic of JP3's hand today...

it's a lot worse than he told the public...

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...otos-jason-pierre-paul-hand-article-1.2364444

it's not just his thumb...

he has completely lost his index finger...
and 1/2 of his thumb...
and also damaged his middle finger...

defensive linemen use a lot of grab and push technique...

this has to diminish his skills...

Against all odds, the Redskins actually won a home game against a decent team. They pretty much controlled the game as they beat the Rams on the ground and in the air, 24-10. Color me shocked as the Rams had just defeated Seattle and last year shut the Redskins out. Nice win.:smile2: -- Al

The Patriots won the Super Bowl today over fatso and the Bills; total domination, they fell asleep in the fourth quarter and let them get into the game somewhat, but it was never in doubt IMO.

What a poorly coached team the Bills are; numerous personal fouls, running their mouths, late hits, taunting, the fish rots from the head down, what else would I expect from a team coached by Fatso.

Cripes, it is a sad day for the Cowboys. Lost Wells last week, and now Romo is gone with a broken clavicle. How does a team lose it's two best/key offensive players and still compete?:( -- Al

yes...

it blows...

Wells?

you meant Bryant???

our season is officially over...

first Scandrick...
then Gregory...
then Dez...
now Romo...

I'm ready to jump ship...

George...

Brady seems like he can score at will...

I had them -3...
looked like a blowout...
I wanted to hit a bucket before the Cowboys started...
and I came back home...
it was pretty close for a bit...

it wasn't local coverage here...
so I didn't watch it...

how did Buffalo get back in the game?

Mike,
' The Bills came out on fire, marched down the field and scored a TD, Patriots came right back and hung 21 on them. they blew it open and were up 37-13, it was basically over at that point.

Honestly, they let off the gas, a Brady strip sack and fumble didn't help, let the Bills get back into it.

Sorry, that tomato can the Bills have as a QB doesn't scare me in the least, they had 8 sacks on him, could have had more, the Bills fumbled five times, recovered all but one or it really would have been a massacre.

Fatso is all hat, no cattle, he and his team ran their mouths all week, they got punched in the nose. Their monster Defensive line did nothing all day long, Patriots gave Brady all sorts of time to throw.

Hate to say it, but he looks like a man on a mission this year, almost 800 yards passing in two games, 7 TD's, 0 INT's, reminds me of 2007 all over again.

They were chucking the ball all over the field, they hardly ran the ball at all, kept featuring a three tight end set, had a four tight end set on a couple of plays, Gronk was a beast today, over 100 yards receiving and another touchdown...............

Mike, yes, I meant Bryant. Dez Wells was a b-ball player at UMd, just graduated and with the Wash. Wizards now.:redface2: -- Al

George...

I don't have the NFL ticket...

my national coverage was the Texans game...

and I'm a Cowboy's fan...

so I don't watch them much...

I had an hour and a half before the Cowboys kicked off and left the house...

I was freaking out when I got home and saw the score...

but yea...

Brady oh yea...for sure...

I looked at the box score...

65%...
almost 500 yards...
3 TD's...
QB rating of 106...

he is definitely firing on all cylinders...

ya'll should bench him when you play us...^&grin
let him rest up...
put in Garoppolo...
give him some work...
should be a cakewalk...

I know we are gonna suck with Weeden...

Moe...

4-12 looks really believable now...

but don't blame it on Sean Lee...^&grin

he lead the team today with 14 tackles...

9 of them solo tackles...

3 of them behind the line of scrimmage for negative yardage...

also he had an interception...

I hope he gets defensive player of the week...

he's a real hustler...

I still think Dallas wins that division, they have a very good defense; circle the wagons, keep it simple and ride it out until Romo and Bryant return.

Besides, the rest of the division is awful; Iggles and Gints are 0-2, Redskins are 1-1 and they stink.

Gints are the first team in NFL history to blow two games in a row in the fourth quarter while having a double digit lead; Coughlin looked like was going to have a stroke in the post game press conference.

Gee, too bad about the Gints, my heart bleeds for them...................:rolleyes2:

appreciate the vote of confidence George...

but I don't think so...

they really don't have a good defense...

bad secondary...a good QB will embarrass them...

Philly will win the division.

Romo suffered a similar injury in Week 7 in 2010 and missed the rest of the season...

have you ever seen Weeden play?

Weeden is 5-16 as a starter...

he's not very good...

strangely enough...
Dallas only had 2 QB's on their roster...

I'm sure they are shopping as I write this...

so...

DeMarco Murray...

last years leading rusher with 1.845 yards...

now in his first two games has now rushed for 11 yards on 21 carries...

you can't get much for $40,000,000.00 these days...

however he was on the good side of a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty on my punter when he made contact with him out of bounds...

which I thought was unfair...

of course I'm a little biased...

but Bailey was standing on that yellow line and it looked to me like Murray put his hand on his chest and pushed him off the line...

Murray made contact and pushed...

am I wrong...

at best...call nothing...

I can't see the Iggles winning the division, Bradford is one hit away from being done, he stinks, Chip Kelly needs to go back to college and run his Harry High School Offense there, the boo birds were out in full force today in Philly.

Why coaches like him, Spurrier, Saban, Kiffen, etc, etc, leave college and go to the pros is beyond me; yeah, yeah, I know, they follow the money.

Look at Spurrier; he had it made at Florida, left for the pros, was a disaster, now he's a a nobody at South Carolina.

Stick with what works, stop being greedy and do what you do best..................

Hi Mike,

I think that the Pokes might be able to win the division at 7-9, as the NFC East is looking kind of like "PHF" (parochial high-school football). But, here's the deal...they need Lee to stay healthy (along with what remains of the starters). However, there's no reason to believe that he'll survive the season. Knock on wood, and pray for the O-line to improve and the running game to get going. Otherwise, my original 6-10 prediction will tilt in the direction of...gulp...4-10.

well...

I hope you're right...

you really can't recover from losing your best running back...best receiver...best cornerback and the QB too...

it's just too much...

about college coaches...

you certainly picked 3 good ones to validate your point...

Doug warned me about Kiffen...

and he was right...

I'm glad his contract was not renewed...

he was weak...

ps...good call on Green Bay

Moe...

you might be right...

hahaha...

7-9 wins the division...
how sad huh...

but with Weeden at the helm...
I'm pessimistic even for that...

and I may mention his name if he does something really good...
but I'm gonna quit ribbing you about Sean Lee...^&grin

The problem the fans had with Kelly, before the season even started, was how he totally dismantled a team that was successfully using his system. When you dump a good starting quarterback, fan favorite running back and others, and replace them with Bradford ,who, and company, Chip was on a short leash in Philly already. The Eagles have no offensive line, thus Murray getting stopped behind the line of scrimmage regularly. And Bradford has no deep game..Not much to look forward to, at this point. Michael
