NFL 2015 Season (1 Viewer)

The problem the fans had with Kelly, before the season even started, was how he totally dismantled a team that was successfully using his system. When you dump a good starting quarterback, fan favorite running back and others, and replace them with Bradford ,who, and company, Chip was on a short leash in Philly already. The Eagles have no offensive line, thus Murray getting stopped behind the line of scrimmage regularly. And Bradford has no deep game..Not much to look forward to, at this point. Michael

Excellent analysis of the situation in Philly right now, well done Mike............

How bout those Steelers! I know against the 49ers, big deal, BUT the offense looks good and that gives us some hope!

Meaning? 49ers are not a terrible team but like I told my son (who is a 49er fan) it was going to be hard to win yesterday after Steelers lost to the Patriots and the game was in Pittsburgh.

Another brutal loss by the Giants yesterday. Whenever Eli carries the ball, he's a fumble machine waiting to happen. Yesterday was typical and it changed the game.

I'm beginning to agree with George, at least about Eli. How did this guy win two Super Bowls. He doesn't look like the same player.

Bradford was seriously hurt every season he played with the Rams. I wouldn't expect him to finish the season. I'm not exactly sure what Chip's philosophy is in the NFL. He perfected the hurry-up, no huddle offense in college with a running QB. That was devastating at Oregon. But he has taken on pocket passers like Bradford, Sanchez, and Barkley who can't run that type of offense. The trouble seems to be that no QB can last in the NFL if they are running the ball much and getting hit. Now I don't think Chip knows what to do. I can see him heading back to the college football ranks in a couple more years.

As good as the Steelers/Bengals hell even the Browns looked yesterday my Ravens sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you can't stop a pitiful Raider team and allow them to score 37!!!!! wait til we play the Bengals Steelers in back to back weeks :( 0-4 right now isn't out of the picture unless we can play defense/offense in the same game:mad:...Sammy

He might be heading back sooner than that!

on the opposite side of the fence here...I think Kelly is much better coach than you guys do...10-6 his first year...that's pretty good...10-6 his next year with tons of injuries...that's real good...I think he's a good coach...in a weak division...with Dallas's injuries woes...even at 0-2...I think they will win the division...their schedule seems soft...they need to figure out how to utilize Murray...

Playing in Pittsburgh against a team coming off of a loss was going to be tough. But losing 29-3 at the half? That was just brutal.

Jason,

I think that was an aberration. Maybe a perfect storm sort of thing: Steelers mad about loss to Pats and home opener, with team and fans loaded up for bear.

I rarely get to see the Jets play...
but they look very good...
heck of a defense...
especially their secondary...
maybe Luck is just off tonight...
but it seems like almost anything he puts up is contested strongly...
or intercepted...

the Jets need more of a running game...

but Fitzspatrick seems really sharp on anything up to 25 yards...
not as accurate on the long threat...
but manages his receivers well with his accuracy...

AFC East...2-0 and looking good...

Moe...

4-12 looks really believable now...

but don't blame it on Sean Lee...^&grin

he lead the team today with 14 tackles...

9 of them solo tackles...

3 of them behind the line of scrimmage for negative yardage...

also he had an interception...

I hope he gets defensive player of the week...

he's a real hustler...

with all the injuries...

this might be my last chance to wave my hat in the air this year...

Sean Lee awarded NFC Defensive Player of the Week...

Good for Lee, and I say that we call it a season! Our team is 2-0 and is in first place in the NFC East. I want to be wrong, but this may be as good as it gets for Cowboys' fans in 2015. Consider if you will, the extended-period injury list:

Orlando Scandrick - out for the season
Terrell McClain - out for season
Tony Romo - eight weeks minimum
Dez Bryant - four to eight weeks (depending on what his Ouija Board says)
Randy Gregory - yet to be determined
Ron Leary - yet to be determined

The above list doesn't include the walking wounded or guys that have been ruled out for week 3 only, such as Jeremy Mincey.

SUPPOSEDLY, going with a YOUNGER squad would deliver the team from this kind of attrition.

Good luck with that Cowboys!:redface2:

Mike, if I missed anybody, please fill in the blanks!

Something wrong with the water in Baltimore. O's flushed their last real chance at the WC by being swept in 3 straight shutout losses and now the Ravens have started 0-3 for the first time in their history, effectively flushing the season down the drain after only 3 weeks. What is up in Baltimore?{sm2} -- Al

Dallas had the game, up 14 points on two different occasions. After the Dallas thrown Interception, everything went down hill from there !

I thought that it was amazing that Dallas was able to score 28 points in the first half. There will be plenty of expert opinion as to why, but I want to attribute it to some bad decisions by the Falcons' coaching staff.

I think that they were so over-confident, that they played the Cowboys as though Tony Romo and Dez Bryant had suited up for the game. This allowed the Cowboys to run and pass short in the first half.

In the second half, Atlanta said, "to heck with that," and loaded up the line to stop the run and crowded the receivers at the line and on short routes. The result was that the offense ground to a complete halt.

On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys spent too much time on the field and were completely worn down midway through the third quarter. This was particularly true in the defensive line where they have so many wounded or missing, including Randy Gregory, Jeremy Mincey, Terrell McClain and Greg Hardy.

Given all the injuries, no one should be surprised at the results. 8-8 is looking awfully tough for Dallas, IMO.

Dallas @ 8 - 8 again is getting Old ! We want blood....LOL

I hate to one up all of you in the disappointment category but the Niners get decimated today. Kaepernick threw 2 pick 6's in the first 6 minutes that looked like instant replays of each other. As one commentator put it, the Niners lost 47-7 and it wasn't even that close.
