One of my best friends sons interned this Summer at Draft Kings in Boston, he loved it there and thinks he'll get a full time job once he graduates in three years.
I told him yesterday they might not be around in three years if the attorney general in MA has a say; once the attorney general comes sniffing around, you're toast.
Afterall, the state has to stick their hand out and get theirs, right?
Gambling is gambling and we'll see where this goes, doesn't look good right now.
Mike,
It's a pretty big story here, the attorney general is sniffing around, we'll see how it shakes out................
If it s all done online .... how in the blazes would the A.G. know who "bet" or "played" any money. Plus how could a law like that be enforced?
--- LaRRy
It has nothing to do with who bet or who played, they are trying to determine whether the whole thing is legal and above board.
They're sniffing around, kicking the tires, seeing what's what with the whole concept...................ie, the state is trying to figure out how to get their piece of the action from it.................

Ahhhh yes .... the IRS .... how stupid of me. :redface2:
The IRS cares NOT for anything ... except their share ....!!

Larry,
These things are not difficult to determine, with all the tools available to us today. The law is easily enforced, again with the tools available to us at our disposal.
Brad
Lots of close games with 3 OT games and 2 games decided by 1 point. Both the 'skins and the Ravens lost in OT. Bummer. -- Al
Sammy, it was a bad summer for the B/W corridor and this fall ain't looking any better. Got to keep my eye on the off-season moves by the O's and Nats before I get too excited about spring training. Lots of work to do, baseball, football wise. Have to see who UMd picks as football coach, too. Still have Terp b-ball to look forward to. They are supposed to be real good this year. We'll see, about all of it.:wink2: -- AlI'm done with the close but no cigar comparison, basically the defense has lost 3 games we were winning in the 4th quarter, when do you let the Browns, Bengals,Raiders throw on you allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day long and lose, time for a change, coach Pees, DB coach, I really don't care at this point, can't wait until we play the likes of a Palmer, Rothenburger, Wilson, Hell I may even join the fantasy league because who ever is the QB playing against the Ravens is like stealing money on one of those leagues!!!! 500 plus yards today for the Browns???? are you fing kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't worry 49er fans the Raven defense is coming to town next Sunday and that's a sure fire fix for your Cappynick, minimum of 400 passing, I'll give him another 100 rushing just to be fair, gonna be a long cold winter in Arizona this year, hey Al, when does Spring training start??? oh nevermind, forgot the O's were just as bad, hmm...haven't followed golf in awhile?? as long as the guy isn't from a Maryland area....Sammy
My son says that people are calling the Dallas NE game the "Beaters vs the Cheaters."
Don't kill the messenger Mike and George, I just report the stuff!
