NFL 2015 Season (1 Viewer)

that is absolutely disgusting and inhumane...

I can see your point...

I'm a dog lover...

I have a schnauzer named Boo...

he sleeps in my bed...sits in my lap while I watch tv...and last night had Chinese food for dinner...

I spoil my dog like a grandchild...

I'm not excusing what Vick did...

it is deplorable...

young people (everybody really)...make so many mistakes...

I know I did...

maybe you're right...that is way beyond the boundaries of humanity...

I understand your hatred for the man...it's justifiable...

Mike:

Boo is a really cool name for a schnauzer! Isn't there a Thomas Gunn set with one?

Now, who would have guessed that today's game between the Ravens and 49ers would be featuring 2 teams that are both 1-4 and both in last place in their respective divisions? These are 2 big surprises of the season for me, along with the 0-5 Lions. -- Al

My favorite thing about the NFL this week has been the way they have repeatedly tried to play up tonight's game between the Patriots and Colts. The Colts are going to get destroyed and no amount of NFL spin is going to change that.

Luckiest team in the NFL won again today with the Broncos managing a 26-23 OT win over Cleveland. Broncos now 6-0 by a total of 37 points. Manning had another bad day but was clutch enough to win. Going to be interesting to see how they do against Green Bay next game on Nov. 1. It will be the first team with a winning record that they have faced. -- Al

Flacco just made the stupidest throw in NFL history. What a blockhead. Inexcusable interception while trying to avoid a sack, throws deep, off his back foot, and overthrows all his receivers by ten yards, but not the defense.:rolleyes2: Idiot. -- Al

Tom...

should Roethlisberger worry about getting his starting role back...^&grin

2-1 without him...

Another close loss for the Ravens. They are 1-5 and all 6 games were decided by 6 or fewer points, 5 losses by a total of 22 points. They have been as unlucky as the Broncos have been lucky. -- Al

It is no longer about the wins and losses for " fans ", but how did your fantasy guys do. The new gambling class cares more for Stafford's 400 yards passing than the fact they might be in last place. Football as a game being played is near unwatchable except for the gambling class that do not even watch, but wait for the boxscores. Michael

This is quite true. It is a pinball league. Yesterdays games averaged 78 passes and 49 completions per game while the running game averaged 53 attempts. Rivers threw for over 500 yards, and lost. I lament the passing of the old NFL where running and defense were the driving force and passing, an exciting adjunct. Pass, pass, pass, gets pretty boring when it's dump off dink time after time. It has been a while since I really enjoyed or looked forward to a Sunday with the NFL like I did when I was growing up. I miss it. -- Al

Bingo, give the man a cigar.

Well the game last night was closer than I thought it would be, IMO it was never in doubt, Patriots scored when they needed to, Colts had no answer for Gronk (name a team that does)............sorry about that late TD by the Colts Mike as the spread was 10.................loved the stooge they showed in the stands with the deflated football hat he was wearing; not sure what is dumber, that hat or actually spending money to buy one................

well...
can't win them all...

that's why they sold so many of those bumper stickers...

"sheet happens"...

not blaming you...I pulled the trigger...

and I sure don't blame Belichick for running the clock down with running plays on NE's last couple of possessions...
NFL teams don't care about the spread...
they just want a win...
why risk throwing it and getting a turnover that might cost you the game...
it was the smart play...
but I sure needed a first down or two to run the clock out...

they should have covered...

but...

gotta give the Colts players kudos...
even if there was a revenge factor...
they showed up to play and made it close...
actaully leading at the half...

Pagano didn't help them much...

he's a total boofus...

that crazy chicken wing formation was hilarious...
9 men to the left..a lone center and QB facing 5 defenders...
I had to laugh...
what a call!!!
even the announcers were cracking up...

congrats on the win George...
think Shula is getting nervous yet?

As I said about my woeful O's a month or so ago, just let it end now:mad::mad: I can't remember being this disconnected from NFL Sundays (if ever) in sometime, after much hope and wayyyyyyyyy to much reading into the predictions of the NFL anaylists who along with myself picked the Ravens to go very far this season, and the only place this team is going is to the front of the class during the 2016 draft, at this point with Seattle, Pittsburgh, Cinncy, Arizona, Miami, San Diego, (hell any team at this point) still left to play 4-12, 3-13 wouldn't surprise me one bit, actually had a chance to go see the Ravens play Arizona here next Monday night, I blew it off, with the likes of Cappynick throwing for 300 plus yesterday Carr in oakland smoked us for 300 plus can't wait to see next weeks totals, it will be the Sam Huff nightmare all over again except it won't be "Unitas to Berry" it will be "Palmer to Fitzgerald" ...Sammy

okay Sammy...

my good news...

the Cowboys (Weeden) didn't lose this week...

thank God for the bye...

in that weak division...
Washington lost...
so that's good news...

and Philly plays NYG's tonight...
so one of them should lose...
hopefully NYG's...
so they will both be tied at 3-3...

Matt Cassel will start against the Giants in week 7...
Weeden was 0-12 as a Cowboy's starter...
so Cassel couldn't do much worse...
at least Bryant could be on the field...
so that may open up the passing game and if he gets double coverage...
it should open up the running game some...

if that diluted division can keep losing...
the Cowboys may have a chance to hang around...

That game just shows me once again, Vegas knows what they are doing with the spread.

The Colts tried every trick in the book; onside kicks, going for it on fourth down, the fake punt (and like the buttfumble vs the Jets afew years ago, this one already has a name, we'll call it snapfu...................), etc, etc; and they still lost.

They haven't beaten the Patriots in six years; I wish they'd stop calling it a rivalry as with a rivalry, the other guy wins a game every once and awhile.

I never felt like the game was in doubt, the Patriots scored whenever they had to, the Colts had no answers for Gronk or the short passing game.

It's on to the Jets....................

Looks like the Jints aren't quite ready for prime time as they got waxed tonight by the Eagles 27-7; it was all downhill after that first drive.

Take away that festivus miracle win last year and they'd be sitting at 2-4.

Yeah, 1-9 vs the rest of the NFC East the past two years ain't gonna get it done.

yea...

after that 4 minute...80 yard opening TD drive where Eli had 5 straight completions...
I regretted taking Philly -3 1/2...
and would have sold my bet for half price to the first sucker that came along...

Gruden's bromance tirade...
spewing how he has never seen Eli look so good...
and Eli is a changed man...
and Eli is playing the best football of his life...
blah...blah..blah...
which went on for 5 minutes...

well...
that was the last positive thing he said about Eli all game...

2 interceptions...
1 fumble...
the only one that looked worse than Eli...
was Bradford...
he had 3 interception...

but Philly managed to hang on and win which was the best case scenario for Cowboy fans...

going into week 7...
Philly and the Giants are tied at 3-3...
nobody is running away with the division...

the Cowboys with wins against both Philly and NY...
their only 2 wins this year...
are in about the best shape they could be at 2-3...

they really need to win in NY this week to stay in the hunt til they get healthy...
division games are huge...

fingers crossed...^&grin
