NFL 2015 Season (2 Viewers)

I feel your pain Sammy...

I really do...

woe is me...

George...

congrats to your Pats...

that was a solid thumping...

Dallas threw a wrinkle at the Patriots today, they played a 3/2/6 defense, got all sorts of inside pressure on Brady, five sacks in the first half.

Hardy is a beast even if he does have a screw loose.

This one was really never in doubt and you are right Mike, Weeden is the king of dink and dunk, they had a 8 plus minute drive that produced a whopping three points, reason being they were continually in a third down situation.

As far as the "Cheaters vs the Beaters" concept; as a Patriots fan, I have to accept the fact that outside of ME, VT, NH, MA, RI and CT (and half of CT pulls for the Jints and that stooge Eli and grampa Coughlin), the rest of the football world views the Patriots as cheaters, first Spygate, then Deflategate.

Nothing I can do with it, just laugh it off with every win and every trip to the AFCCG and the Super Bowl wins as they come.

It is what it is, whatever helps other fans sleep at night as they wonder how this team has been so dominant for fifteen plus years.

Next Sunday night is going to be interesting at Indy..........................

I was surprised they got any pressure on Brady rushing 3...

on one play they rushed 3 and brought Sean Lee...the announcer called it a blitz...hahaha...

I don't understand why they didn't rush at least 4 on every play...but...losers always cry...so there....

Brady torched the secondary...lots of YAC once they caught the ball...Gronk especially...he shed tacklers and got lots of yards after the catch...lots...

Weeden...yea...he blows...hahaha...

like you said..."it is what it is"...

thank God for the bye next week...

then on the road to the NYG...then host Seattle and Philly...

3 more loses on the way...

2-6 sounds right...

maybe we can hang with TB week 10 if we're lucky...

other than Eli's pick at the end of the half...he looks good tonight...

Cowboy's 2-0 start seems like years ago...

Philly rolled today...

Giants will lead the division outright after tonight...

Dallas tied for last place...

The old adage injuries are a part of the game and you hate to use it as an excuse is all well and good, but that game would have been much, much different today if the Cowboys had a healthy Romo and Bryant out there.

As a fan of the NFL, you hate to see a teams season get flushed down the toilet due to injuries.

Like you said Mike, Gronk is a beast, there is no one like him in the NFL today; again, not to go on about injuries, but if he didn't get that high ankle sprain in the 2012 AFCCG, the Patriots win another Super Bowl vs the Jints and if he didn't blow out his knee and break his arm in 2012 and 2013, they get back to the Super Bowl instead of the Ravens and the Broncos, but that's life in the NFL and again, injuries are a sad reality.....................

Was looking at the box score of the Arizona/Detroit game and was stunned to see that Detroit threw the ball 70 times! They also had the ball enough to run it 18 times, 88 plays all together and 36.5 minutes of possession. The Cards slaughtered them anyway, 42-17, though throwing only 18 passes themselves, along with 25 running plays. How do you throw the ball 70 times, keep possession 13.5 minutes longer, and still lose by 25 points? Glad I didn't watch that farce of a football game. Pinball football, coming to a theater near you.:rolleyes2: -- Al

So I tuned into Sunday Night Football in between the Walking Dead and the Talking Dead just in time to see the 49ers go up 27-23 vs the Jints, then back again with 50 odd seconds left.

Eli throws a pick that wasn't but should have been had the defender not fallen down, then he intentionally grounds the ball inside the tackle box and it's not called; I immediately tuned out as I've seen this movie twice already and I know how it ends.

Then I got a text from my friend; can't repeat it here as it's a family forum and all.

Eli threw for 51 dump off yards to Vereen, who's the perfect back for that ah shucks corn fed hayseed, he gets in trouble and dumps it off to Vereen and then Vereen does the rest.

Looking at their schedule, they should be 7-2 when the Patriots head to the Meadowlands to play them; can't wait to see Opie throw a prayer up for grabs in the corner of the end zone to OBJ and he sticks one hand in the air, catches it, gets both feet in and then falls out of bounds, touchdown, ballgame, Jints win, ending the Patriots run at another perfect season.

And don't forget everyone; the Jints are on that win the Super Bowl every four years plan and it's been exactly four years since their last win.

Can't wait.

Mark it down now.

In pen.

Tough loss for the Niners, I still can't believe Kapernick called time out with 2seconds left at the end of the 3rd quarter when all he had to do was let the clock run out. It will get lost in the fact tat the 49ers lost but it was just plain stupid.

Eli played good tonight ...
450 yards and I think Odell sat out the entire 4th qtr...
the final score was closer than it should have been...

I know 21 seconds is not really enough but Kapernick didn't give himself much of a chance. At least throw the darn ball downfield. They should have won the game. Could have been a big lift.

An interesting contrast to the end of the Redskins regulation game. Redskins were down by 3, received the kickoff and had 24 seconds to get into FG range. Cousins very efficiently drove them 46 yards to give the kicker a shot at tying the game, which he did with a 52 yard kick at the gun. Game went to OT where the Redskins lost, but they looked good tying it. -- Al

When they signed Vick, a petition was circulated where the fans wanted him off the team; probably ready to build a statue for the guy now..........:rolleyes2:

Like Brad said, he did the crime and he served the time........................

I agree, still think he is a jerk, but everyone deserves a second chance. His one scramble did remind me of his flashes of brilliance and it keeps the game exciting. Gotta feel good for the guy as he took a pounding last night as well as maybe gets him some confidence back in both himself and from Haley.

Ted...

I am allowed to negotiate for the Cowboys on this forum...

we will trade you Weeden for Vick...

he would fit in good with this team...^&grin

As I have stated before, after reading the Court documents related his case, in my opinion Michael Vick does not deserve a second chance.

Jason...

you're right...

Michael Vick was a very bad boy...

stupid decisions in a young man's life...

but he did do his time...

Mike:

I understand your point of view.

I feel that human beings do deserve second chances. However, his crimes go beyond the actions of a civilized human being thus negating his status as human. No second chances for filth that over saw, participated in and funded some of the worst things I have ever read.

I already wrote about the jumper cables that were used on dogs that were thrown into the pool for electrocution. The list of heinous acts is nauseating. One of his female dogs used exclusively for breeding (referred to as a "rape dog" by Vick in his DOJ interview) had every one of her teeth removed (according to the evidence it was a total of 22) without any anesthesia so that she could not fight back when being forcibly bred. Think about how much pain you are in when you have a dental procedure done and they give you novacain and use the proper tools. Now imagine it being done with pliers and without novacain.

Sorry, no forgiveness or "he did his time" for me.

that is absolutely disgusting and inhumane...

I can see your point...

I'm a dog lover...

I have a schnauzer named Boo...

he sleeps in my bed...sits in my lap while I watch tv...and last night had Chinese food for dinner...

I spoil my dog like a grandchild...

I'm not excusing what Vick did...

it is deplorable...

young people (everybody really)...make so many mistakes...

I know I did...

maybe you're right...that is way beyond the boundaries of humanity...

I understand your hatred for the man...it's justifiable...
