NFL 2015 Season (1 Viewer)

Surprisingly, last night was a good game. I had zero interest in it and still watched until the end. I feel so badly for the Min fans - young quarterback whoopsie ended that game early.

Fantasy football stopped from doing business in NY...

http://espn.go.com/chalk/story/_/id...judge-bars-draftkings-fanduel-operating-state

by the way...

I think Jerry Jones and Robert Kraft have a pretty good sized financial stake in these websites...

As a point of clarification for those who may not know but in NY, the Supreme Court is a lower level court, not The Supreme Court. The case would have to be appealed to the Appellate Term, then the Appellate Division and the Court of Appeals, the highest court in the State, equivalent to the Supreme Court in other states.

it was a good game...

Minnesota gave them all they could handle...

Arizona had no ground game against the Viking's defense...

Bridgewater and Peterson look good...

Green Bay should keep the pressure on them with the lowly Cowboys this week......

Minnesota blew that game, the turnover in the red zone in the first half was a killer, then after they tied the score, Palmer threw a boneheaded INT that would have set Minnesota up for at least a field goal, but the play got wiped out thanks to an offsides penalty.

Poor Vikings.........

I know it is easy to second guess a move but what were the Vikings thinking on that last play? They were well within field goal range. A sack, INT or fumble costs you the chance to tie. Way too much risk is involved. Kick the field goal.

At the Celtics game last night, I saw Edelman, he had on a pair of black sneakers with while soles, he was walking fine, no limp, no boot, no nothing.

Today video was released showing him and Gronkowski at practice, both looked pretty good to me.

Just get those two, Collins and Hightower back at 100% and I'll take my chances with anyone in either conference anywhere....................

Gronk listed as questionable, but he did make the trip with the team...we shall seeeeeeee

Him making the trip is a good sign.

I don't get the whole Edelman thing, they said it was a 6 to 8 week process, more towards 8, yet he's already practicing and it's been only 4 weeks.

Hope they don't rush him back and he causes more damage, without his quickness, he's toast...............

didn't understand how he was practicing so quickly either...

I thought NE was hoping for his return once the playoffs started...

maybe they understated the original injury...

his return will make a huge difference...

Actually way back in 1979 a team with a 9-7 did make it to the Super Bowl. I remember when they upset the Roger Staubach led Cowboys at Dallas to advance. Nobody gave them a chance against the Steelers and they hung in there pretty well.

I believe it was Pete Rozelle who introduced Parity because of the dominance of the Steeler and Cowboys back in the 1970's.

Caught the 30 for 30 last night on the 90's Bills, they of the four strait trips to the Super Bowl and four losses.

Pretty interesting stuff, the incident where Thomas couldn't find his helmet, the D Line coach of the Bills dumping all over the Hogs before the Super Bowl(not a good idea), the loss to the underdog Giants when Norwood missed the field goal (the Giants have a habit of beating heavily favored teams in the Super Bowl huh?...........:rolleyes2:............), the huge comback vs the Titans, what a gag job, blowing a 35-3 lead in that game.

Those Bills teams were loaded on offense; Thomas, Kelly, Reed, Lofton, Tasker, Beebe, how they lost four in a row is beyond me. They beat a bunch of tomato cans in the AFC to get to the Super Bowls; Raiders, Doofins, Donkos and the Chefs.....................

As a Raiders Fan. I remember being down 21-3 against the bills in one of those playoff games (I think Schroder was the QB). Thinking we would come back. But we were pasted big time :)

I watched the 30 for 30 at your recommendation...

the theme of the show seemed to be...

not so much that they lost 4 SB's...

but that they were good enough to get to 4 SB's...

I was cracking up at all the old news clips they were showing...

making references to anyone's failure...

as "Billish" or "Buffaloish"...

good watch...

Glad you liked it, I felt badly for Thomas and Smith as they sat there and watched the clips from all the Super Bowls, at one point Smith said "I keep thinking everytime I see Norwood kicking that ball that he's going to make it one of these times".................or something to that effect.

As one of the ex players or coaches said in a voice over "Getting to a Super Bowl and winning is a great feeling, getting there and losing is an even worse feeling" and he's so right. As a fan, losing the big one stings forever, I can only imagine how an ex player feels about losing................

yea...tomato cans or not...to get there 4 times is crazy good...

it's hard for me to understand the public's poor perception of those teams...

"they can't win the big one"...

they won ton's of little ones...medium ones...and large ones...

again...
it was sad...
as they showed several clips with people referring to any losing effort in life with some bizarre Buffalo euphemism reference...

kind of like getting "Munsoned" as Woody Harrelson in Kingpins...

it's not fair...this was a great team...just couldn't close the deal...

it may only be the first quarter...
and the game is long from over...
but everybody needs to start worrying about Cam Newton's arm and the Carolina defense...

they are for real...

I wish he would quit those crazy choreographed gestures...

Kind of like the legacy of the 90's Braves in baseball, except the Braves actually won a WS once. Got to the WS 5 times, went 1-4. From 1991 thru 2005, the Braves took 1st place in the division 14 of 15 times, yet won only 5 pennants and 1 WS. Now that is frustration. -- Al

Has there ever been a kickoff or punt return without a penalty?:rolleyes2: What a waste of time those plays always seem to be. -- Al

Ravens are having a highly unusual, and rough season. They have played all 12 games with a point differential of 8 or fewer points. In their 4 wins, the winning points have all been scored on the last play of the game. Can anyone say 'heart-attack'?:rolleyes2: -- Al
Looks like the streak of close games will end today as the Seachickens are crushing the Ravens 28-6 early in the 4th. At least my BP gets a break.:rolleyes2: -- Al

Andy Dalton injured his thumb earlier today, is on the sideline in street clothes with a hard cast on.

Bengals losing 26-10.
