NFL Season 2016-17 (2 Viewers)

first time I watched Atlanta all year...

they got some big time offense...

fast receivers...run good routes...good hands with Ryan's accuracy...

if Dallas can squeak by Green Bay...they can't handle Atlanta's receivers...

the holding call on Hestor's big return seemed to doom Seattle...

that was huge...and 84 yard penalty...that turned into a safety and then a TD...

that really turned the momentum of the game...

Mike:

That was the first time that I saw Atlanta play as well. They can really move the ball, on the ground and through the air. The over/under in their next game will be huge, whether they play the Cowboys or packers.

I don't want to make excuses for Seattle but they have not been the same since Earl Thomas broke his leg. That defensive back-field is thin, once a starter goes out teams simply go after the back-up.

If the Texans' offense hadn't been so inept, this could have been an interesting game.

We've now had six playoff games and all stinkers for the most part. Ratings were down last week. I wonder what they were today. Let's hope for more compelling games on Sunday.

surprised they let Brady finish the game with a 3 score lead...he was getting banged around pretty good tonight...Garrapolo was looking mad and mumbling to himself when the camera panned in on him standing on the sideline late in the 4th...

A win is a win, but if the Patriots turn the ball over four times vs the Steelers/Chefs, they won't win the game.

That said; that's six strait conference championship game appearances for New England, an NFL record, something the Packers, Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers, Redskins, Broncos or anyone else has done, the Raiders went to five strait.

In the salary cap era, that's pretty impressive..............................

Osterburgermystermysterburgers agent is my new hero, he got 18 million a year out of the Texans for that tomato can, what a horrible performance that was, 198 yards passing, 1 TD, 3 INT's, that's got to be one of the worst QB performances in playoff history.

He's terrible.

The ATL defense stepped up their game. I was concerned that they were going to be the issue.

The Pats turnovers, RB fumbles and the O line were scaring me that entire game. Like George said, if they don't work that stuff out, we have problems. That being said, the Pats are notorious for playing a bleh game and them coming back with a vengeance. Based on the score, you would have thought they played well, but all who watched the game know better.

Looking forward to today - I agree they should be much better games! GO Steelers! Go GB!

He's crying all the way to the bank.

Heard an interesting stat this morning; in the last three Super Bowls, the #1 seeds from both conferences made it.

The NFL playoffs have turned into the NBA playoffs, the home teams so far are 6 for 6.

In the last 5 years, home divisional teams are 16-4, the previous 5 years they were 10-10.

Looks like there is no more parity in the NFL when it comes to the playoffs, we haven't had some 9-7 team that backed into the playoffs get hot and go on a run and pull a Super Bowl win out of their rear ends in a long time.

That said, watch Green Bay and Pittsburg end up in the Super Bowl, ie, the two lowest remaining seeds left.........................:rolleyes2:.....................

Impressed with Atlanta, I had not seen them play this year, they looked good. Pats are the Pats, had some kinks, but my opinion that game was never close regardless of the score at some points.

Today - Steelers have to bring it, I like the match up, but it will be all about execution. If they lay an egg early, we are dead in the water. We have not played well on the road when behind, it is almost like the dam opens.............

Packers - if Dallas can contain and keep Aaron in the pocket, game set match.

TD

Ben needs to be careful and patient - if he throws picks, KC is going to make him pay.
Ground game definitely is in Steelers favor. KC pass D much better then rush D, Leveon better then Ware and with the nasty weather there could be a lot of running

Atlantans are rooting for Dallas today. Thinking is next week we'd rather face a rookie QB, and give up homefield advantage, rather than have to play Aaron Rodgers at home.

That's crazy talk, HFA is huge in the playoffs, not to mention Green Bay's defense is not very good, Seattle's is better and they got torched yesterday.

Although I think you'll get what you want, Atlanta did beat GB this year. HFA is what you play for.

I hear ya and would normally concur. If the Falcons play GB it will be a high scoring affair. Maybe HFA gives them the edge in that scenario. Even so, Hard to look forward to going against AR in the playoffs, here or there.

AR took the Falcons to the cleaners in the playoffs in 2011. Atlanta was the number one seed, GB was wildcard. Bad memories.

Understood, I know all about #1 seeds losing to wild cards, happened to the Patriots twice.

Bad memories for sure.

Good luck with whoever you end up playing.

There is no way Dallas comes back from this deficit.

Brad was right, Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers are legit.

I think the Cowboys have stabilized things. Will be a good second half.
