NFL Season 2016-17 (7 Viewers)

I think that the Dallas offense is coming to life, but the Dallas defense is having a tough time stopping Rodgers.

All things being equal at this point (literally) I think that the Packers have the advantage with Rodgers.

Full credit to Rodgers on that last pass but how in the heck did the Dallas defense lose that receiver?

Great, great game and certainly a nail biter sitting here in Wisconsin . . . . . Go Pack!

Credit also goes to Cook for a fantastic catch and making sure his feet were in bounds . . . . . And how about Crosby . . . . .

Condolences to Mike Miller. A tough one to lose.

Agreed on that one. It is probably little consolation, but the Cowboys went as far as they did this year with a rookie QB and rookie running back. They are only going to get better.

Wow...a tough one to lose for the Boys, keep your head up Mike, your Boys are set for some good years to come and wouldn't be a bit surprised if they are hosting the NFC Championship game next year. that being said my Superbowl pick of a Pack/Steeler are still intact, for the moment that is, let's go Tom.

Heard an interesting stat this morning; in the last three Super Bowls, the #1 seeds from both conferences made it.

The NFL playoffs have turned into the NBA playoffs, the home teams so far are 6 for 6.

In the last 5 years, home divisional teams are 16-4, the previous 5 years they were 10-10.

Looks like there is no more parity in the NFL when it comes to the playoffs, we haven't had some 9-7 team that backed into the playoffs get hot and go on a run and pull a Super Bowl win out of their rear ends in a long time.

That said, watch Green Bay and Pittsburg end up in the Super Bowl, ie, the two lowest remaining seeds left.........................:rolleyes2:.....................

So much for that stat....................:rolleyes2:

Green Bay was what, 4-6, now they've ripped off 8 wins in a row, Rodgers is other worldly, there isn't a defense left in the playoffs that can stop him.

Looks like Sammy the Greek is on fire, Green Bay is a shoe in for the Super Bowl.

Ahhmmmm....Nein!

18-10 Steelers in 4th, I think this is going to be another last series drive for a win.

my Cinderella season is over…I think all Cowboy fans…while disappointed with tonight…would agree we had a great season and can be optimistic to many more playoff runs in the near future…as we have a very young nucleus to build on…I do anyway…

like I said in many posts before…Dallas has a terrible secondary…and can be exposed by a good QB…hopefully in this year’s draft…they can build on their secondary and pass rush…

Rodgers was just unreal tonight…didn’t seem like his receivers dropped many balls all night…even when he was flushed out of the pocket and running for his life…he threw strike after strike…he was pretty special tonight…as were his receivers and especially his field goal kicker…what a clutch guy he was…

like Jason said…when they got behind 21-3...I also thought it was too much to overcome…and while they made a good game of it…with a chance at overtime…you can’t give a QB like Rodgers the chance to win on a field goal final drive with 39 seconds and 2 time out unless you have a good defense…and unfortunately…Dallas does not have one…

I was really hoping that the Giants would beat Green Bay last week…I didn’t want to face Rodgers…especially after the way he dismantled them…

Offensively…Dallas actually had a good game…so I can’t blame them…31 points would usually do the job…but not tonight…some dropped balls…a few timely penalties…etc…

Prescott passed for 302 yards on 24 of 38 attempts…with a QBR of 82.7 and an RTG of 103.2...Rodgers passed for 356 yards on 28 of 43 attempts…with a QBR of 83.9 and an RTG of 96.7...pretty even…Elliott rushed for 125 on 22 carries…the problem wasn’t the offense…Dallas needs a shut down corner and more talent in the secondary…I think they have a bright future…

George…congrats on New England…good luck…
Rutledge…congrat on Atlanta…good luck…
Tom…congrats on Pittsburg…good luck…

and thanks for all the condolences from Brad, Jason, Mike, Sammy and Rutledge…

So it comes down to Patriots/Steelers.

Gee, that's just swell.

Sammy the Greeks picks are both in play.

So Harrison spends 350 grand on keeping his body in NFL shape according to Collinsworth?

And he said that with a strait face.

We'll see how things shake out next Sunday.

Well my absolute fears were almost confirmed. We laid an egg in a way I didn't see coming, no tds. But nice job by the d and Darth Vader strikes again. As to the 350 George, it was a story earlier this week on ESPN. He was including the 200k spent on 3 or 4 masseurs. It was an interesting article. I think it could be a great game. I am hoping for a little luck. I figure it this way, we will be underdogs with nothing to lose, so it should be a game.

I am happy for George (New England), Tom (Pittsburgh), Mike aka Mestell (Green Bay) and Rutledge (Atlanta). At least someone's team on this thread will win it all.

With that being said I still see the Patriots as the favorites.

Did anyone see the post game interview from the chiefs Travis Kelce. What a classless jerk. Blaming the refs for the obvious holding call on Harrison on the 2 pt conversion. i guess in his mind putting a rear naked chokehold on a def end who beat you and was probably going to make a sack is ok. Then he goes on to say old man Harrison fell down so the ref felt bad for him. I wonder if he would say that to Harrison's face? I put my money on Harrison. One thing I can't stand in any sport is a whiny bad sport. They are the worst, they end up being whiners in life too, just worthless.
