Nfl season 2017-2018 (2 Viewers)

give the man his props George...he's 5-0 with a team that was 1-10...he's brought life to San Fran...hope to a franchise on life support...Jags and the Rams are good defensive teams...I was surprised Kraft him go myself...you probably were a little too...not really fair to compare him (or anybody) to Brady...I bet his jersey sales are going through the roof...

Mike,
There was no way he and Brady were both going to be on the team next year, they can't spend 50 million on one position, not to mention Garappolo was not going to sign on to be a back up for another 3 years or so, he wants to play.

The other issue people forget is even if they traded Brady, there will be a large amount of dead money on the cap for 2018, so who goes, who stays?

The fact is they were screwed with Brady still playing at a high level and his back ups rookie deal expiring.......................

Wow!!!

the 2 of them were gonna cost 50 million off the cap...
for real?
what the heck were they getting paid?

Brady is not going anywhere...
the city of Boston would lynch Kraft if he let Brady get away...

I thought Brady always took pay cuts cause Giselle made so much...
like...he didn't need the $$$...

I remember he took some pay cuts to try keep Welker years ago...

Once again an Andy Reid team crashes and burns in the playoffs. I guess the Chiefs forgot the most basic rule of football...you must play 60 minutes. Well, the Chiefs played a terrific first 30 minutes, and then quit. Enjoy the off-season, KC. :rolleyes2: -- Al

You beat to me to it Al: Andy Reid teams are good but not good enough. He will get you to a certain point but no further.

If the Bills win tomorrow they will get the Pats again. They’re in a no win situation. Lose and they go home. Win and they go home a week later. I will root for them tomorrow as a NY team.

Kansas City is now 0-6 in its last 6 home playoff games.

Ouch.

That's pathetic; today up 21-3 and they lose to the Oilers 22-21.

They did everything right in the first half, everything wrong in the second half.

Watching them in the first half, I was worried that their offense was back on track and they'd be coming here next weekend; now if Jacksonville takes care of business, we get the Oilers and the Steelers get Jacksonville.

Good luck with that, they waxed Pittsburg earlier this year.

And Revis can go pound sand, he goes home a loser, but he cashed all his checks from the Chefs, that's all he cares about..............................

seems like the second Travis Kelce went out...
he took the offense with him...

the Mighty Titans...
a 9 point underdog...
with a 9-7 regular season record...
with a -22 points differential...
advances...

hehehe...

okay...
throw out NE and Pittsburgh...
and the American doesn't look very strong...
two 9-7's
one 10-6's
two 13-3's

still I favor the American to win the Superbowl...

Rams were my pick in the National...
sooooooooooooooo much speed...
but are currently trailing Atlanta and just fumbled...

It couldn't happen to a better team, I hate Kelce, big mouth nothing. Feel sorry for Andy Reid, but Kelce, enjoy the offseason.

As to getting torched by Jax, well, Ben did have the worst game of his career. AND, if you look at what the Steelers have done to teams that beat them early in the year when they get them in the playoffs, we are undefeated for as long as I can remember, so Jax would be fine. Funny thing is, I would laugh if the Bills win, why not, I didn't think TN had a chance either.

TD

Another playoff game, another gag job.

Good job Rams; first playoff game in LA in 26 years and they crapped the bed.

Imagine losing to the emotionally wrecked Falcons, how do you do that at home?

Maybe their 14 year old coach was up past his bed time.

The Falcons will end up in the NFCCG now, mark it down in pen, they get the QB less Iggles next...............................

Much like Santa Clause, Andy Reid is a fat guy in a red suit who disappears in January.............................

Everything in LA is trending in the right direction. Great coach, young QB. Considering how they played the last decade or so this season was a miracle run. The Falcons were a tough draw coming off their SB choke job. They were primed.

When it comes to the NFL, you've got to take advantage of your situation; teams that are trending one year (Doofins, Raiders, Giants, Lions, Bucs) are in the toilet the next.

There is no guarantee for 2018; first place schedule, high expectations/pressure, you never know how a team is going to react to that.

The NFC was wide open this year, any one of the six being in the Super Bowl would not have shocked me.

The whole world was touting Gurley as the slam dunk MVP of the league..........he got his 100 yards yesterday, zero TD's...........................

I am not saying there is anything to the recent ESPN story about the Patriots. However the reaction to Robert Kraft's statement saying that there is no turmoil and everything is fine does make me laugh.

What did people expect him to say, "yes everything is terrible and we are in disarray"?

This Jags/Bills game is an insult to football.

Bortles is hot garbage too by the way, another QB who wilts under the playoff spotlight.

Much akin to giving a coach who's under fire the old vote of confidence.......................we'll see how things play out going forward.

Kraft reminds me so much of DeBartolo Jr. and the Niners. He is a great owner who looks out for his players and everyone in the organization from the cafeteria worker at the team headquarters to his head coach. All the while the media, other owners and fans of other teams try to find ways to tear him down. It all eventually got to Eddie D, I hope it never gets to Kraft.

Well thank God that game is over, hopefully game #2 will be better.

Wildcard weekend really is awful.

Too bad for Bills Mafia, they'll have another 17 years to break folding tables to their hearts content.

Parity sucks!!😡 the NFL is so boring to watch today! There should be maybe 2-4 teams who dominate, and kick the heck out of each other in the playoffs. I’ll take the Steelers/Oilers/Cowboys/Raiders of the mid-70’s or the 49ers/ Giants/Redskins/Bears of the mid-80’s. Dominant teams meant for good competitive hard-nosed playoff football. With parity, the playoffs are painful to watch. If I could just turn back the clock to the mid-80’s, I would in a heartbeat!

The Bills will never win unless they can get a QB who can throw. Bortles was pretty awful too. Jacksonville will just be cannon fodder for the Steelers.
