Jason,
Nicely done with your figures. I can see how archers would decimate a phalanx.

Steve

A few more pics. I was excited just to get them out all together and havent yet put too much thought into setting it up to tell a decent story. Just wanted to share it with you as the only photos of the phalanax we have seen is JJ’s promotional stuff.

Jason,
Nicely done with your figures. I can see how archers would decimate a phalanx.

Steve
Yeh Steve, they sure would as the phalangalites mostly have the shields slung over their shoulders. So protect the archers, get them close, cause some chaos and then send some light skirmishers in.
Jas

Excellent display showing off JJD's Ancient Greeks Phalanx and Persians Infantry with the Cavalry looking to out flank the Greeks unless their own Cavalry turn up sharpish ! :salute::

Haha, we saw the pictures of the cavalry in the weekly jjd news a few weeks ago so i rekon it will be at least a year till they show up.

Tremendous display Jason!! I've enjoyed seeing this set up come together with each of you're progress photos.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Mark

A well though out display. Thank you for sharing your collection.

Cheers,
Grey

Sorry for the late reply friend.
I love this range!
I have a full East of India phalanx for Alex and plenty or Persians and Greeks so I never collected any of these But I must say that they are beauties!
Keep going, I say. It can only get better.
And crazier like our Anglo-Saxons...
But then a good collection tends to be complete. And no, I don't work for John.
(Seriously, I don't) I just pay him every month.
Paddy
