Extremely pleased to have received my first four Pike & Musket figures today.

I have been waiting for some years for English Civil War figures by a top end manufacturer and boy are they worth the wait!

Just superb figures......... Thank you K&C for taking the plunge into this era. Looking forward to supporting this fine series.

( and can't wait for the Cavalry! )

Cheers,

Roy

Agree very nice, check my thread under diorama's TIME ON MY HANDS AT LAST. Plan like you to dive into this series. Robin.

Roy,

I am living in fear of their appearance at my local TSS because they will go from looking nice to I must have.

Do what I am doing - clear the decks of other 'must haves' over the coming weeks and then go hard with the Christmas dollars.

Jack,

Good piece of advice just my want list is very long.

Must stay off EBay and learn to restrict what I collect.

Was never good at self control and it doesn't help with so many excellent new releases.

Everything is good in moderation - particularly moderation!

All things I need to learn self control, moderation , don't but toy soldiers , stop collecting.

Its easier to give in.

This TS collecting is worst then a drug addiction.

All in fun what else would I be doing and you meet some interesting people.

Very nice figures. Congrats on the acquisition. Nice work by K & C on this new range.

It seems we all will be buying both as the armies are interchangeable depending on how the battle was panning out. Robin.

I put my order in for 4 PnM figures this morning and my dealer just got back to me to say he was sold out but has reordered from K&C and will get more in the next K&C shipment. That's a surprise!! ^&confuse

Hi all,
Many thanks for all your likes and comments -

Robin - thank you for the link to your very impressive diorama

Mark - don't look at them at your local store, or you're a gonner! They look even better "in the flesh"

Terry - Sorry!

I have spent a fair few months downsizing my collection ( still on going) and decided definitely not to collect any new lines. We were on holiday when the Pike & Musket video
appeared. Oh no, I said looking at it on the laptop. What? queried my wife. Look at this! I replied. An English Civil War series - brilliant!
Oh no, said my wife shaking her head.

Cheers,

Roy ( Just ordered another two! )

Thanks Roy, couple more photos on TIME ON MY HANDS AT LAST, as the battle heats up. Robin.

Hi all,

For anyone interested, just a couple of follow on pics of my latest two Pike & Musket figures.

Cheers,

Roy

Thank you for sharing your lovely pics ... they are beautifully sculpted and painted figures.

Especially like the figure with the pike as it only rests on him and he has a great pose without the pike, to give the figure a different look, a very useful figure in diorama's. Robin.

To be honest, I never had an interest in the "English Civil War" or Cromwell. When K&C released the first set of Pike and Muskets figures there was just something about the figures that connected with me. My first group will arrived tomorrow along with a half dozen books from B&N on the above subject matter.....

Same for me, when I first saw them I thought good do not need them, but after a few more looks came around, so 2 dvd's & 3 books later and some Google info on the battles, have come up to speed for the period 1642-1651 which previously I knew nothing about except the name Oliver Cromwell. Have many accessories now, just need some Royalist's. The main reason for collecting the series, it is a chance to get in on the ground floor before the numbers get too daunting. Always like the idea of battle lines, but the duplicates increase the cost dramatically, hence me steering away from Napoleonics. Robin.
