For those that are interested, there is Trophy catalogue for sale on Ebay.

Does the Trophy Catalogue, only list figures made for the year of the catalogue or will it list older figures too.

I have a copy of the same catalogue, it is dated January 1998.

Some of the AZW sets not shown are:

PONTOON ON THE MARCH
PONTOON UNLOADING
MOUNTED INFANTRY
ROCKET BATTERY
OXEN DRAWN AMMUNITION WAGON
RHA OFFICER AND BUGLER
24TH MARCHING

Cheers

Martyn:)

Guys,

Thanks for the heads up on the Trophy catalogue.

Perhaps I shall have a crack at this one.

Best, Raymond.

The catalogue I have been circulating is a 1997 or slightly earlier copy.
It does not have Dragon Crest or La Haye Sainte in it.
Good luck to those bidding

Thanks for the info on the catalogues. Good luck to those bidding.

I was just curious about the catalogues, not bidding on it.

There is a "Frontline Dressing Station" on EBay. Is this a common set or is it hard to find.

Hi Brian

I spotted that one as well;)

The seller has it described as the rare EQ30B but as far as I can tell this is EQ30A, I think there has been a typo error on the original Trophy box label. As far as I remember there were set # EQ30 and EQ30A, the only difference being the bases.

Here is another, similar, set that sold recently for $111.38. This one is minus the stretcher bearers but had an extra figure drinking from a canteen.

Martyn.,
You mean the new bases versus the older square uni-color bases?
I like the older bases better!
Mike

You know? I don't have this set, and I have my government backing me via an Economic Stimulus Package. Sorry for any competition amongst friends, but I'm giving this one a whack!
Mike

Good luck with your quest 1879 here's a photo of an earlier set and I'm sure you'll noticed the differance with some of the figures other than the bases.........The Lt.

Lt,
Yes, and it is your set and dios that has inspired me to-spend money on this set. The guy with the pail and the injured 24th are much preferred over the other set. And I believe our other staff officer has the set also in Surrey:rolleyes:

Thanks for the picture of that set Joe, I also have it along with EQ30.

I think the figures from this set, especially the wounded soldier wearing the helmet, are more representative of a Frontline Dressing station than the one on sale.

Cheers

Speaking of the catalogues..... Does anyone know what the H2H sets 1,2,3,4, look like? I have the sets and the boxes but I am afraid they are a bit mixed up. In short I do not know which figures go with which box:eek:

I have pictured Hand to Hand sets 1 through 18 in my "ALBUMS", these should help sort your figures

This catalogue finished tonight and sold for £250.00 approximately US $350.48

Martyn, Guys,
Does anyone else besides me feel that this is a little insane? I would'nt pay that amount of money if it was the all-encompassing catalog of every set made! Was it one of us? Anyone? Damian, did you get an early 1st quarter bonus?
Mike

Somebody wanted it real bad. I agree with you Mike, that price was insane, but hey, it is not my money, so congratulations to the winner. I hope they are happy with it. Maybe this catalogue was needed to finish their catalogue collection.

Gotta agree there Mike.

Just think in the Old Days you could have bought 10 hand to hand sets for that same amount and the catalogue would have cost a fiver:cool:

Cheers
