Joe Saine has just listed several boxes he had in Chicago, except for the dray cart. As all are with a reserve, I assume he's looking for something along the lines of what he was then asking: $1,200 for Zulu and $900 for non-Zulu, if my memory serves me correctly.

You are probably right, those were his asking prices in Chicago.

There's an Afghan auction ending in a few hours that's gotten a bit pricey, up to $216. These always seem to be expensive.

It went off at $272. A little rich for my blood (I was going to bid at $245 but then changed my mind) but I'm sure the old and new owner will be happy.

Three of the five boxes sold: the ACW Wilderness box which went for $600, the Dray Cart which went for approximately $400 and Doctoring for War which went for a shade under $1,000. The rest didn't meet the reserve.

I agree: ACW Wilderness was a good deal, somebody paid too much for Doctoring the War which would be on the par with Reload in my view: around $800 tops. They are nice sets but not rare. Pageantry BB set is quite scarce but not very desirable because not many interesting sets have been made in this range
Just my 2 cents.

I've found that the eBay app that I have on the iPhone quite helpful in keeping me abreast of things that pop up. I check it frequently and saw the Crimea auction pop up last night and took the plunge.

If you don't have it, I recommend it.

I also find it pretty handy for seller functions: listing auctions, leaving feedback, etc.

The AZW series could be starting to attract serious attention again, a set of 6 reloading 24th Regiment figures (ZS43) sold for £192 last night

The figures were also available in a Big Box set

This is my "Special" Big Box set of 24 pieces which has an extra 4 "Standing Loading", the regular set had 20 pieces

Joe Saine had the regular Big Box set on Ebay last week but it surprisingly never sold

I think there are a few collectors who are currently driving prices higher. I think Joe's reserve was around $900. At £192 or $291, it's probably worth to get the box.

The Maxim set also went for almost $200. Too rich for my blood.
